gets the job done. nothing wrong with it, but nothing "wows" me.-my girlfriend got last years pack and hers is way better...sweet back support, cover for the water valve so it doesn't get dirty, hip belt pocket. pretty simple pack-but would still recommend it.

I bought mine several years ago, and it did include the bladder & hose, stamped with the Dakine brand name.

I used the "Live Chat" feature to inquire about this because I need to replace the hose on my pack. The Dogfunk rep indicated that Dakine doesn't make bladders/hoses for these packs at all anymore, so you'd have to get a Camelbak bladder/hose component to use with this bag.

Review Title

It's a good all-around backpack. I haven't hiked with skis but the diagonal carry looks pretty good. For humping your snowboard, I think the vertical carry is kind of lacking. It doesn't stay very secure so your board bounces all around and hits you in the back of the legs.

If you plan on doing serious backcountry, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you want a good backpack that will carry your extra softgoods, camera, goggles, etc., and has a built-in hydration system, this is a great pack.

I am in LOVE

This pack is perfect. I feel like we were made for each other honestly. The fleece-lined goggle pocket is GRRREAT! When I get done driving up to the mountian I put my sunglasses in there and pull my goggles out. The snowboard carry system has come in handy more times than I can count. Though my board when attached tends to hit the back of my legs when I walk. So I would not suggest it for long hikes. But I cannot complain rather than 2 trips to the hut or lodge I can make it in one with hardly any effort it seems. I am 5'9 and I don't feel like I am carrying a little pack on my back it fits comfortably. I admit when I first got it for Xmas I was dissappointed thinking it would be a bit bigger but it after trying it out it has been great!

NICE

Very comfortable. Compact. The waist and chest straps do a good job of keeping the pack and your gear sturdy. The camera pocket and hydration sleeve are convenient.

Haven't used it for boarding yet but I have been hiking on goat trails (rugged terrain) and it has held up.

I recommend it.

i got this at REI on sale and used it a few times. really nice to have even not taking it out on the mountain. its got a drainage pocket on front and overall is comfortable. i rated 4 stars because its a pain to get camelback tube through sleve. but its really useful when its in

I got the heli in Bomber. I liked it and all but I just had a few problems with it. I think it lacks in the pocket department. It doesnt have a good place for me to put my computer charger in the front pocket. i think it should concentrate more on the pockets than the buckles. other than that the bag works great. I carried all types of stuff on the mountain and was happy.
