Great pack for just about anything you are doing. There are a lot of adjustable straps and pieces to the pack that allows you to hike with it or ski/board with it. Also a lot of features i wasn't aware of. Got a little education piece on youtube for that. I used the compatible hydration too and works to a charm! Let me know if you have q's...

It would be difficult, even if they were a small size...and if you did...its probably the only thing you'd be able to fit in there.

could you fit a helmet in this?? i have a smith holt helmet im looking for a pack that i could haul my gear up to the mountain in and also ski around with.. i guess i could just strap it to the outside..

Not really - strapping it to the outside would be the way to go. You might be able to get it in, but barely and without anything else...

What you want to do is use the smaller front zipper pocket to put the helmet inside and the side straps can keep it tight because you won't be able to actually zip it tight in the smaller pocket. Or, just strap 'her on there with a Carabiner or just with the helmet straps

this doesn't have a shovel pocket, but it does have straps on the side that will work. this does not have a dedicaded hydration pocket/sleeve. straps for the shoulders and board holder are solid.

Any chance this pack would be able to fit a 15 inch laptop? Sadly, I've gotta make this pack work for the backcountry and school; and how is the ski attachment system?

Dimensions are 21"x11"x5.5".. you'll have to measure your laptop to see if if fits.. hopefully someone else can help you on your other questions.

I love this bag. I am 5'2 and small so the shoulder straps and the length of the bag is a little long on me. However it fits my ski boots + soft gear well and my ski's strap to it nicely. It's on the smaller side but enough room to pack the gear and use for school!

Awesome pack. Exactly what I was looking for. Works great on the hill and I know it will work great for MTB and hiking. The best thing about this pack is the buckles; there's tons of them and you can mix and match them with most of the other buckles on the pack. Makes it really easy to fit all your gear into and onto it. Plenty of room for all the gear you need for a full day on the slopes. Recommend it to anybody!

This bag has been everywhere with me and has held up better than I have hoped. I have used my Heli Pro in Alaska for 3 summers, many camping/hiking trips in So. Utah and I have used it for school (although this is not a good school backpack, but I made it work). It fits tons of gear and keeps things nicely organized inside with pockets and compartments.

Can't go wrong with this bag. It's versatile, well made and designed for life on the hill. A nice bonus that it's made to add a hydration pouch!

Hi Bob!
Not quite sure how it would fit. However, the shoulder and waist straps have lots of extra length on them (at least on mine they do). I measured my waist straps at about 52" in overall length and the shoulder straps at about 40" in length. I hope this helps...
Thumbs up

I have used this pack for a year now it's almost indestructible. It fits well with black diamond shovels and is easy to carry skis with.

Perfect amount of space for backcountry ski/snowboarding necessities but still has a slim profile so you won't get pushed off the lift. For everyday use, the hydration pouch doubles as a great laptop sleeve. Love the fleece lined goggle pocket as well and the contured shoulder straps.
