Description

Show everyone how high you roll.

We don’t advise you to use the fully padded, DAKINE High Roller Snowboard Bag to transport your Cristal, but you can trust it to protect your board, bindings, boots and all the other snowboarding bling you pack into the split-level design. Stuff the three exterior pockets with your boots, goggles, baselayers, and beanies, knowing that when you close the bag they’ll mesh in between, and around, your still-mounted bindings. DAKINE made it possible to throw a lock on the zippers to keep the haters from stealing those hot goggles you just picked up. Roll up to the terminal in style with the help of the High Roller’s urethane wheels and end handles.

I have a 166cm board, will this fit into the 165cm bag?

Best Answer Responded on

Nope! Dakine's snowboard bags run a little small. my 161 barely fits in the 165 bag. Go big, besides the extra room is perfect for gear.

picture me rollin

i snagged this bag for my trips and couldn't be happier. really sturdy and can hold tons of stuff. I havent had any issues with stuff getting damaged and will put it to one final test when i fly to whistler. The pics are a little blurry but I can get both my size 12 snowboard boots in one pocket and my wifes size 6.5 boots in the other. I can also drop in my board (166 wide) and my wifes (150) skis and still be just under the 50lb mark for the airlines.

sweet bag

Able to fit two boards, or a combination of a board and skis. Exterior pockets were a perfect fit for the boots. Plenty of room in the interior to carry all your snivel gear for the mountains, as well as clothes for the weekend. While the wheels helped as we dragged the bag through the airport, it was still crazy heavy. Still better than not having wheels and having to sling it across a shoulder. Seems to be well constructed and hopefully will last for years.

Responded on

No can do. This bag can hold two boards but one of them will need to have the bindings removed.

It's a tad late, but for anyone else looking into this bag it is very possible... I found this gem while researching the bag http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-xxTTZwfuo

great airplane bag

i've traveled with this bag to a few places and it has absolutely been great. i've been able to fit all my stuff in it including clothes along with all my riding gear and multiple boards. too big for just going to the mountain for a day but perfect when traveling in the airport. easy to drag behind too with beast wheels.

Sweet Burly Bag

This bag is a beast. I got it primarily to store the board and to go through the airport. It's perfect for these situations. If all you're going to is use a bag for is to toss your board in a car and go to and from the resort or backcountry, then you'll want a low profile bag. This bag is too bulky for that. However, the wheels can be removed so it can be made more low profile if desired.

High Roller

I purchased the blue and black checker patterned board bag. You can fill the bag with all you gear, clothing, accessories, and any other extras you may have. The bag is larger than you might think, but its lined to prevent your wet gear from saturating other items and is padded enough to protect your gear. Great bag.

Nice Bag, good price

I purchased this bag to accommodate my new Prior Spearhead 178. It's more than adequate in length. It does weigh over ten pounds though, so you start with a weight penalty for the airlines - something to consider. I usually pack everything in my board bag so as long as I pack smart, I think I can stay under 50 lbs with boots bindings and two boards. Anyway, the bag is nice, the zippers are not heavy duty, but typical for bag of this price. I am also not sure how the mylar like lining will hold up. The wheels are chunky and should be a lot more durable than the ones on my old Sims bag that were not right after their first flight. There are plenty of pockets, straps and features to satisfy a gearhead. The real test will be how it holds up and protects the gear, the real purpose of the bag. More to come next season....

Awesome bag!!!!

I returned the low roller bag for this one due to the bigger compartments and overall bigger bag. This bag is the best constructed and thought out bag I have seen for a board bag. My boots actually fit in the boot compartment unlike the low roller. The only thing that this bag doesnt have which was nice is a strap to carry it. Over all this is the best bag you will ever buy for the money!

Does anyone know if a bag like this would fit a pair of skis AND a snowboard with bindings attached? My boyfriend and I want to save money by using one bag but I'm concerned we won't be able to fit his boots in if I use the exterior pockets for my ski boots. I can't remove the bindings on my skis so we would probably have to have the bindings facing each other, therefore having to squeeze his boots in any gap in between. Its hard to picture unless we can try it out really. Does anyone carry a helmet in these bags as well?

I have this bag and really don't think it will fit a full snowboard set up and ski's including boots... If you could i think a great deal would depend on the size of the snowboard, ski's, boots and bindings... If all are on the smaller size you may luck out, but for sure, the snowboard bindings would have to be unmounted to make everything fit in place...

i can squeeze in my 165 rossignol board and a pair of dynastar 178 skis if i tie up the breaks with my pair of snowboard boot poles jacket googles and most everything else in the 185 size. i could probably get my ski boots and board boots in there but youd have to lose something. the trick is to lay the skis flat against the back and put the snowboard bindings so that they straddle the bindings the opposite way so you can zip er shut. it might not work if you have a narrow stance on your snowboard or its short like a freestyle setup. i end up having the nose of my big mountain snow board nearest the wheels and the ski bindings sit nice between the bindings top sheet to top sheets. you could always take your board bings off too. that would be a peice of cake to get it all in.

making travel easy

awesome bag makes travel easy, i traveled from new zealand and back twice dont know what i would do without it, I put 2 snowboards with bindings, boots, pair of hiking boots, 2 pairs of jackets and pants, googles all my tools for work and i still have extra room could put alot more in but then it gets really over weight. having the wheel make it easy to pull around instead of have to carry it

My husband has a Burton 181 bag - Will it fit in this Dakine bag?

Responded on

A 181 bag, or board? The 181 board will not fit in this size 165 bag, but if you did mean to say "181 bag"that will fit fine, just fold it in half and shove it in!

I ride a 152, will this be too large? I want the high roller depth, the low roller seems to small

Responded on

Waaaay too big. I put my 167 into it and still have plenty of room. This bag is so long it just barely fits longwise in my short Tundra pickup. The three storage compartments are awesome. You can stash boots, helmet, bindings separately... then stack up several boards inside. Its a big quiver. If I was you I would go smaller.

can you put two snowboards in this bag?

I am sure you could fit two boards as long as you take the bindings off of one and stack the boards. Then put the second set of bindings in between the bindings on the top board. That should work to perfection...Good Luck!
