Description

Protection for Egg Plants, Hand Plants, Sad Plants; limited protection against face plants; you're on your own for carnivorous plants (Feed me Seymour).

Wear DAKINE's Nova Wristguard, a beefed up version of the Nova Glove with an integrated wristguard, and save your wrists for more important things — like pouring frosty beverages after a hard day of riding. This burly glove features DAKINE's trademark DK Dry moisture management membrane insert that moves perspiration away from your hands while blocking out exterior moisture. Low-bulk Thermoloft insulation and a fixed liner offer up season after season of reliable warmth. The shell is reinforced with grippy PVC-coated Toughtek palms and highly abrasion resistant Clarino synthetic suede. Don't sacrifice your gloves to the edge gods this winter; grab your rail with confidence and control. The lightweight internal aluminum stay and adjustable hook-and-loop wrist support give all the protection of a separate wrist guard without the bulk. The full-length, over-the-cuff gauntlet seals out snow with a one-handed, super-cinch drawstring closure.

Good buy

Haven't hit the mountain with them yet, but from first glance they seem like good gloves, warm and comfortable. A little bulky, but expected with wrist guard gloves. The supports seem like they could also be a little tighter to the wrist, but again, you get what you pay for when you buy wrist guards and gloves all in one. Limited protection is better than no protection. I bought these for convenience of not having to remove two items (wrist guard and glove) off of my hands while boarding.

I'm looking for the glove with build-in wrist guard protection for snowboard. I currently have a pair for youth XL (no build-in wrist guard). Now,I dont know my glove size for women with build-in wrist guard. What's you return policy?

Responded on

dogfunk's return policy is a 100% satisfaction garuntee (sp?). If you aren't happy with them, return them for a full no questions asked, money back return. They will even take them back used....nuff said... measure your hand from the bottom of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger...then use the fit guide to buy your size! good luck, and bring on the snow!

hi, i was just making sure that ur price is $U.S.
also so these gloves have a hard plate on both sides of the glove?

Best Answer Responded on

Yes the price is U.S. $
And the hard pvc plate is only that strip on the palm. The velcro strap loops around the back to secure everything.

My Nova' s DO have the plates on both sides of the glove.

The gloves are for my daughter not sure whether to get a small or medium. ,she wears a size 8 in a goalkeeper glove, she doesn't have very big hands

Responded on

I bought a small and they are still a little bit big mainly because womens' fingers typically don't have the same width as mens'. I have fairly small hands but not abnormal for the average woman. Other than that the wrist guard falls in the right place and I can definitely get the wrist strap tight enough.

Calgary Caper

I have used these gloves a couple times so far and I love them. The only negative thing I agree with is that they don't have a removable liner, other than that....they are stellar!

WAY better than Burton

This has much better support than the Burtons. I have both and these are more comfortable. Perfectly warm and comfortable in both crazy blind snow, uber freeze and spring conditions. Excellent all weather support glove.

Horrible Quality

Searched high and low to find these gloves and what a disappointment. The first thing to fall off was the lanyard. Next came the cinch gauntlet and finally the Velcro came off. All of this occurred within 3 uses and I am not hard on equipment. Bottom line, find another brand to buy.

Wrist support

Very much waterproof with good wrist support. I recommend these if you do anything where you absolutely cannot lose a functioning arm for a bit ;)

Kinda wish they had a liner so they'd be easier to dry out between days
