Awesome buckle, not as much overall
I loved the belt when I first saw it, and the integrated bottle opener sealed the deal. When it arrived I loved the buckle but found the belt itself to be pretty meh. I ended taking the buckle off and putting it on a different rail belt. Only problem I have with the buckle itself is that the plating began to wear through within a week.
Overall I'm still glad I got it, and the price was right.
I've had this belt for 7 years and have had no complaints except that the clasp sometimes comes off of the belt. It is a super easy fix though and doesn't happen very often. This is my favorite belt and will definitely buy another one when it is time.
How long is it by inches?

I love this belt, is really long, confortable and looks nice!
I'd like to have want more, but in other color, for instance, black or silver dark!
Simple to set up, strong, and keeps you pants in place.
Infinitely adjustable so whether you are in Chicago all winter eating deep dish pizza or out on the trails running all summer, this belt will fit.
Good belt for a cheaper price. The double clasp is a little weird but it really isn't a problem. It is a simple belt that will do the job to hold your pants up. It also has a nice color to it and cool and simple design. It did seem to loosen as I was skiing a little bit but it never came undone just tightened till the clasp caught the belt.
I got this belt a few years ago when I broke the belt that had been holding up my snowpants. I like dakine stuff, and this belt it pretty good as belts go. However, since there are two clasps holding the webbing to the buckle, you can run into problems if you put a lot of stress on it. A handful of times the buckle you don't normally need to adjust has come undone. Still, its a good belt and you can never have enough ways to open a beer!
Bloody Brilliant Belt
This BBB (Bloody Brilliant Belt) is exactly that. Its simple, just some webbing and a clamp on belt buckle but it works great and looks good. Keeps me old pants up well too, which I see as a bonus. And don't even get me started on the church key I love it and have used it to open a brewski or two in its day. Buy this belt its worth it.
this belt isnt great, isnt terrible. dont count on using the bottle opener unless you are looking for crotch on your beer, or beer on your crotch
Dakine rail belt
Love this belt! Since it is fully adjustable the tension around your waist is just perfect. No need to worry about the fit as on some other belts where your waist just might be "in between" the two holes. Bought it for hiking, but it's so comfortable that I wear it to work as well.
Maybe it's because I'm a total nub at snowboarding, but I took one fall and the belt became undone. After refastening it, I took a much harder fall and the belt clasp completely broke off, lost in the snow somewhere. The only thing it was good for after that was as a whip, but I'm not so much into S&M, so I threw it away.
I got this belt for my boyfriend, who loves beer and loves having an excuse to draw attention to his crotch. The actual utility of the belt is okay, it takes a couple of tries before you get the hang of it, which can be a bit of a buzz kill (pun intended) when some one is waiting for you to open their beer and you have it practically nestled in the fly of your pants while you fiddle around with the cap for three minutes. But, it's a gimick, and always gets a chuckle.
Its a belt, with a brand name
Its just a web belt with DAKINE on the buckle. It does what it supposed to, no issues for me. However, to use the bottle opener, you have to reach down below with the bottle, which looks a little awkward at first when someone asks if you have an opener.
The Rail belt is good overall. The main clasp snaps closed very firmly and is very secure. The only complaint I do have is that on a few occasions now the small tab on the back has released causing the belt to release as well. Still 4 of 5 stars as it looks good, and has otherwise worked great. I also don't think $14 is overpriced for a belt.
It seems to work great, though sometimes I get confused - the belt holds up the pants, and the belt loops hold up the belt...Who's the real hero?
Answer: The guy with the bottle opener.
Built for last
I always liked the idea of rail belts. Dakine's built in bottle opener is a nice touch, but I open one beer bottle with an aid of another one. About the belt, it's one of the well made and precious item I'm satisfied with that I will order another one soon. One size fits all, need to cut the excessive part off.
It holds up my pants pretty darn well, and the buckle is a cool design despite the large logo. The belt is a bit long, but maybe I'm just too skinny!
Rail belt review
Okay, a bit overpriced, as mentioned already. Seems fairly durable. Buckle design WILL scratch up any metal/etc on your pants (such as the button clasp)
