Perfect for Panasonic HPX170

By:
December 26, 2012

This bag fits the Panasonic HPX170 perfectly. Plus it still has room for an Xtreme Fisheye Lens, rail support system, extra batteries, shovel, tripod, gloves, goggles, the works. Plus for traveling, it fits a 15" laptop no problem.
The weather bag it comes with is a nice feature, especially as this bag does not have weather-resistant zipper taping. Which is actually kind of nice since the zippers are easier to open one-handed this way. The padding is really well thought-out. It sits super comfortably on my back fully weighted. The waist and chest straps are key. Plus there's lots of little compartments to separate tools from more delicate items like hard drives and memory cards. I'm short, only 5'2" and was worried this bag would be too big, but it's not! It's designed very well. My husband has had older generation of this bag for about 3 years and it has held up to being man-punished. The Burton bag he had before it was not quite as tough and the zipper for the main camera compartment kept blowing out, so Dakine bags have just sort of been a bit more tried and true for us. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this bag if you want a tough bag that's going to fit all of your videocamera and snowboard gear.
