Gargantuan and Tough
Really loving this bag. Easily swallows up my XC helmet, body armor, couple pairs of shorts, two jerseys, gloves, two pairs of shoes, a rain jacket and pants, a spare hat, and more small essentials like tubes and an extra tire.
I keep all my gear in this bag and just transfer it between vehicles when I go to ride. Zippers feel tough and haven't jammed yet after quite a bit of use. Shoulder strap is well padded and the haul handles are big enough to grab without struggle.
If you're looking for one giant gear bag (instead of a bunch of small duffs) this is the one you want for the price.
This is a great duffle bag. I love the tarp lining on the bottom and in the side pockets so wet gear doesn't leak out, and it keeps water out. My only beef is that the bag isn't as big as I thought it would be, but it's still freakin huge. You can fit a ton of stuff in this thing. Definitely too big for an overnight bag. It's even a little big for a weekend bag, unless you bring a ton of stuff with you wherever you go. If you pack this bag to capacity and go on a plane you will definitely need to check it. I was looking for a REALLY big bag, but this one is still huge and I love it.
Great Ski Bag
I will admit, most of my skiing does not qualify as "Backcountry". This bag is great in transporting your gear from home to the lodge. The boot pockets work great to keep the rest of your gear dry, and there's plenty of room for multiple layers. Highly recommended
this bag is great, easily big enough to store all your gear for a weekend trip, couple small interior pockets to put stuff so it doesnt move around but great design, very comfortable to carry
bag is awesome, lots of room. if you need a bag get it. ps shoulder strap is so comfortable
