Is there a sizing guide for these gloves?...

Is there a sizing guide for these gloves? I am unsure whether to choose the M or the L. Is there a useful dimension that could could be measured to estimate the needed size?

"maybe I like ya a lot"

Loving these gloves so far. They are a little tight though, probably would have been ok going to an XL like my Cobra.

4 stars because of fit and they are kind of tedious to put on.

Does anyone know how these hold up against tow ropes? The gloves look awesome but if they're gonna fall apart right away on the ropes I don't know...

Get a pair of cheap leather work gloves and wax them up, wear a good inner. I was on rope tow's in NZ and all our gloves got ripped to shreds - even leather.

dakine > all

some of the best gloves ive ever bought... way better than the last pair of burtons i had, the zipper part of it hugs your wrist perfectly allowing little to NO snow in at all which is always nice, they are warm as hell too!

Like a Glove

Pretty compact glove with a lot of warmth to it for its size. Dig it a lot. Graphics for the Pollard model are cool and not too crazy. Make sure you toss some waterproofing on these gloves as soon as possible to keep the seams from soaking in water. First couple uses for me were fine, but after about #2 I started getting wetness. To be expected though. So I put some nikwax on em after time #2. Great gloves, I switch between these and my hestra helis depending on the brrrr factor. These are better for weather up to about 10 degrees F or so. Too much insulation for a spring day.

No leash like others have said, but they are pretty tight. The Large Fits akin to a 7/8 in Hestras.

it's a maybe for me

These run smaller than I expected. I usually bounce between a medium and a large, depending on the fit. The large sabre's were tight, couldn't make a comfortable fist in them, so consider sizing up. Also, had to return them due to defect in the left pinky, sewn up crooked! Otherwise, nice glove....

Pretty Decent

I really dig the style of these gloves, and they are just as stylish to wear.I found they were a little small - fitted fine, but getting the right one on was a battle that my mit wearing friends would enjoy as they waited for me to get ready. They performed pretty well for most tasks, I could do up the shoelaces on my snowboard boots without taking them off. They were brilliant in most of the weather i faced in two weeks at Niseko, but they tended to absorb water. My hands stayed dry, but the leather once wet wasn't nearly as warm and they would stick to the frozen lift metalwork if you weren't careful. With regular waterproofing treatment they would stay dry, but still cold in the most extreme temps we faced. That said I doubt I would get much warmer without going for a mitten

I would have liked a retention strap for pulling these off on the lifts, but there was no chance of them coming off by accident.
Not really a fault of the glove, but my jacket was huge, and the short cuff of these gloves and the poor fit of my jacket meant i was wearing a bracelet of snow most powder days.

Rad. Just that.

So the biggest sales point for me on the glove was the cuff. Zipper and clasp? Hell yes. Cus with the big bulky pull-tight cuffs, if you fall and pull it out of your sleeve, its an ass pain to get it back in. These bad boys just slide right back. They're warm, too, with fleece lining the whole backside of the inner. Not crazy warm, but they hold up fine for riding and just everyday use. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase.

great gloves, but sizing runs small

Bought these gloves for my hubby for Christmas. He has other Dakine gloves (from several years ago) and has always worn medium... but the medium in these was too small. I don't know, maybe Dakine has changed their sizing? Anyway, I sent them back, the process was very quick and simple, I love that I could fill out a simple form on the website and print out a shipping label. Easy-peasy. Got the large gloves yesterday, they fit great and he loves them!

Sick

Haven't used them on the mountain yet, but DAMN to they look and feel amazing. They are insulated really well and feel really warm, but have a ton of flexibility and remain low profile. They are barely thicker than my pipe gloves. Wouldn't have it any other way. GET THEM.

I'm sure just about every glove is warm and comfortable when your sitting on your couch. Why don't you wait until after you've used them to review?

Killer Style with durability!!!

New Glove for DaKine this year. Waterproof, Durafuse Leather and some sick styling with the metal hits. I rode them all last season here in Utah with no problems. Leather held up, I was warm and the cuff length is perfect to slip under a jacket. Buy em!
