Winter's worst isn't so bad anymore.
When you think desert, you're thinking hot and dry, which is pretty much the opposite of what your hands normally feel like on the slopes. If that sounds familiar, the Dakine Sahara women's mitten is for you. There's 280g of PrimaLoft insulation to keep you toasty when it's freezing. The removable wool liner helps on that front, and since it's naturally antimicrobial, it won't get funky, even when you wear them on back to back days. Being dry won't be an issue with the guaranteed waterproof breathable Gore-Tex liner. The leather palm holds up to everything you need to grab, and the comfy softshell/nylon shell is DWR treated for water repellency. January weather doesn't stand a chance.

NOT WARM ENOUGH!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Ok so I must have really cold hands as I realize the marmot expedition mitten is the only one so far that keeps me warm. They are great gloves but my hands could not take it on a 35 degree day. I have had frost bite to many times for these Mits!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I will buy this glove again and again! Warm waterproof and easy to dry on those days my hand get a bit warm! Stink free!
