DAKINE Spike Stomp Pad - 2008

Easy on, hard to get off. Does what it needs to do, wouldn't use any other stomp pad.

I was debating whether I should put this stomp pad or the studs type for my new board. I didn't want to spend 10 dollars on the studs and take the chance of it falling off so I got this stomp pad. I got the charcoal for my black board and initially it looked big but when I put it on, it looked really good. Also, I just peeled and stick and put the high spikes parallel to the edge for better edge control and it worked great. I couldn't have chosen a better stomp pad.

These are incredible. I cut mine into 5 strips and spaced them evenly to fit the length of my foot. I feel like it looks better and gives you a bit more control.

This is a kick a$$ stomp pad. Sticks to the board well and my boot holds to it.

This is the only effective stomp pad in all weather conditions. Sure footed grip no matter how slick your top sheet is. I have one board with this stomp pad on it and I have ridden with it down pretty steep grades and tight switchbacks while unbuckled -- it offers great control. I cannot do the same on my other boards that do not have any stomp pads. Hugely recommended for those who don't care how potentially uncool this looks on their board.

Overall Great Stomp Pad. In the past i have had stomps lose their grip becasue the spikes got dull and flat. These spikes last forever and give a really good grip on your boot.
