this bag is everything you need and more- took it to Kauai, it can hold my snorkeling gear on one side- and my clothes on the other. I have the terminal bag from dakine as well- nice set!

I love it! Took it on a week long trip that required me carrying my sleeping pad, sleeping bag (compressed down bag)and all my cycling gear for a week and it was great! The wheels are sturdy and it was easy to keep things organized.
i really like it. its not to big but still not to small.
Beast of a bag
This bag can fit everything. It's solidly built, easy to wheel, and gets around easily. My only complaint is that it doesn't stand up very well when it's extremely full - it has a tendency to tip over.
This item says split roller, can it be two...
This item says split roller, can it be two separate bags like the Dakine Convertible, same size?
No, it just has two distinct compartments.

I bought the folsom and love how it looks. The fact that it has many pockets, compartments, and net pouches comes in very handy when seperating your gear. One compartment even fits my boots (11 mens). Now for the weaknesses: The bag looks large however it is very shallow when it comes to packing all your clothes for a 4 day trip (heres where the compartments come in handy if you dont mind rolling up your clothes). Also when you stand it up it has rollers on one side and leans unevenly - very irritating in a busy airport (LAX) when the slightest bump causing it to fall.
This bag is awesome! Super durable and plenty of room. I have traveled around the world for the last two years and the bag still looks brand new. The two compartments are great to keep my boots and stinky gear separate from my nice clothes. The only problem, is that it is so big that I end up filling it and having to pay extra on flights. The smaller version of the bag is probaly big enough unless you are planning on being gone for really long time.
