i love this bag. plain and simple. the quality is amazing, it looks hott and is durable. my suitcase busted when i was away so i bought the over/under and it was the balls. i saw this one and i could not resist! get a color u love and u will not be disappointed:) plus it has little hidden compartments, adds mystery...
I am planning on using this bag for ski trips as well as vacations.
I am planning on using this bag for ski trips as well as vacations. I am wondering with it already being 10lbs how much more i can pack in it to hit the limit on the airplane. Anyone travel with this bag have problems with being over the weight limit or stress about packing?

I took this bag around Europe for 3 weeks. I didn't bring any snowboard gear with me because it was strictly a work related trip. This was the only bag i needed. I fit about a dozen socks and boxers, 2 dozen t-shirts and long sleeve shirts, a few pairs of jeans and pants, 2 pairs of shoes and 3 hoodies. it was full...is that specific enough? I even had enough space to smuggle a few bottles of beer and schnapps back into the U.S.
The wheels are mega big and quiet. They look like little, off road tires. They held it together even on cobblestone streets. Caught a few compliments on the style of design (folsom).
Get the bigger one if you're gonna pack snowboard gear.

This Dakine actually doesn't split. Just be warned of that, the title is deceiving.
