'bilers and frozen East Coast riders, rejoice. The DAKINE Throttle Hoodie features a fitted hood to boost warmth and fight deadly winter drafts. Throw in a facemask (or a helmet breather if you're a sledhead), and you're ready for February. Two-ply polyester with an AEGIS antimicrobial treatment keeps you warm, dry, and smelling way fresher than your old baselayer.

- Fit: True to size
Sizing is perfect. I've used it for running on cold early springs in IL and for an outer layer in winter with my tights on. It breathes well. Monkey thumb come in very handy. When running the tight fit hood and high front neck keeps the heat around my head and neck without having a balaclava on. If wearing casually the hood would be odd to have up, I leave it down in public unless needed.
I have the XL hooded shirt and I am 6ft, 185 pounds. It fits great. The layer is light but warm and has monkey thumbs so it is easy to layer. When the hood is pulled up it is snug around the chin as well. I love this shirt. It is even wearable on the street since the stripes add some styling. Highly recommended.
