DAKINE Titan Glove - Men's

The DAKINE Titan brings a feature set appropriate for gloves twice the price. Behind the Titan’s Weathershield shell and RubberTec palm, a Gore-Tex waterproof breathable insert protects the Thermoloft synthetic insulation from melting snow and ice. A removable, washable stretch fleece liner amps up warmth in extreme cold, and a chamois goggle wipe stashed in the zip compartment on the back of the hand keeps your vision crystal clear.

Bottom Line: Titanic hand protection for winter voyages.

LOVE THESE

By:
December 31, 2010

They are so warm even without the liners. I use the liners as just every day gloves. Only time I have worn the liners in is when it was -5 F. I also put hand warmers in the top pouches that day and it was more than enough warmth. Also they stay completely dry throughout the whole day. And the goretex has yet to wear at all (even at the seams) after a season and a half of riding and everyday use.

Good but defective

I loved these gloves for the most part until my right glove began to fall apart after only 5 days on the mountain. The inner seam came apart and continued to tear every time I put on or removed the gloves. I think I just got a bad glove because the left hand held up well. Other than that.....my hands always stayed dry and warm. I still give a 3/5 because they are great gloves I just got a lemon pair.

the large size of gloves will fit a credit card size ski pass no problem

I'm not sure what size ski pass you have, but a credit card sized one should fit in this pocket especially in the larger sizes of the glove. You might have to insert it at an angle to get past the zipper, so it might not be super easy to get in and out at each lift.

Only glove you'll ever use!

By:
January 3, 2013

I found a pair of these on clearance and grabbed them as a back up pair to my Drop Auxilary II GTX last season. I just got a chance to bust them out on the slopes and I was blown away! I LOVE the fleece liner glove because it fits snug and breathes nicely while the bulkier outer gauntlet glove keeps the snow out. These gloves aren't just comfy, but warm AND dry. They're also easy to fuss with buckles and zippers while they're on and cinch nicely into place with gloved hands. I plan on using these as my primary gloves from now on and keeping my Drop's on reserve. I like them so much that I just ordered a pair of the female equivalent to the Titan (the Sequoia) for my gf.

Great glove

By:
February 22, 2011

I oredered this glove to replace a pair that had lasted me just about ten years. I was skeptical when I ordered them but pleasantly surprised with the way they performed on the mountain. Warm, waterproof, and overall a good fit. For those who are in the market...these are great gloves, however, the sizing IS OFF. I oredered a pair of Mediums because honestly that is how big my hand is. I had to return the first order for a large. Even the large is right on the edge. Whatever glove size you think you are just order the next size up...seriously.

How did you measure the circumference of your hand? I can't really figure it out.

Dakine Great Brand

By:
March 21, 2011

had a previous pair of large Dakine gloves and I liked them so much that when they wore out I decided to get another pair. However, this time I ordered X-large and with the liners they are very snug fitting, actually wished XX-large had been available.

I would have to say that these goggles are the best ones that I have ever used... It wasnt that cold and I dont fall that much so the liner was perfect because it wasnt too hot or cold... The only thing is I should have ordered a large

great setup

By:

the liner is the best part. ideal for wolfing down those crushed peanut butters crackers when your on a lift. i beat up on these gloves but they're tough. i got a few lose threads after the second day but no major stitching has come apart. they're plenty warm and plenty water/snow proof

Great gloves, super warm with or without the liner. The goggle wipe feature is awesome! I would recommend these to everyone. The sizing seems like it lines up with any other glove I've ever bought.

when i first got these i didn't think they would be warm because they are so light. boy was i surprised.. used them in deep pow conditions having to dig myself out several times.. no snow entered my gloves, and my hands were warm and dry the whole time.. did not use the inserts.

Nice but small

By:
February 10, 2010

Well the XL size may have been sized in China
but the XL size was to tight for my hands to
fit into. Make sure to check the size of your
hand first.

Awesome

They keep you dry in all kinds of varying conditions. The liners have to be on your hands to properly fit in the glove. The only real down side I have experienced is even wearing an xl glove my fingers are still way to big for the gloves. Once you're riding you don't notice any more but up to that point they are really cramped. I love them but wish there was a size bigger.
