i have a 154 snowboard, would the 165 be too big?

Responded on

It will be decent for fitting gear and clothes. And the 157 may be too snug for gear.

when it comes to getting a bag, theres no such thing as too big, get the biggest bag you can and stuff as much crap in there as you can :-)

awesome bag

I got the bag as a gift and I love it. There's plenty of room for my board, boots, and just about everything else I need to bring to the mountain with me.

bagadope

this is the perfect bag, not too big, not too small. I got the 175, and fit 2 boards (a 158 with bindings, and a 159, deck only) all my gear, and my size 11 boots. i'd be a little hesitant to pack a larger size boot, but with my set-up the bag filled out nicely, and minimized my luggage. I would recommend getting a bag sized larger than your board. A+

Couldn't Have Asked for a Better Bag

I just recently purchased the Da Kine Tour Bag to carry my snowboard and other riding gear in. I traveled on the plane from Washington to Utah and checked the bag and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better bag. It has more padding than most lower priced snowboard bags that I have seen. My board is a 149 and the 153 bag fit perfectly. There are also pockets for your boots which is very nice. I would recommend this bag to anyone who is looking for a nice bag to carry their board and other gear in. Even with the boots and board in it there is still room to put other gear...jacket, pants, etc. Also Dogfunk is awesome!! Got my bag really quick and got help ordering it. I will definitely be ordering from them again!

Good Bag

Went on a week and a half trip to Park City, and I was able to pack all my stuff into this bag, which is great now that all the airlines charge you per bag. This bag was the best bang for the buck. One of the least expensive padded bags I found.

exellent bag

A great bag for traveling. I went to Colorado for a few weeks and needed a bag big enough to perfectly fit my 50' board+all snowboarding gear (boots, goggles, snow pants, snow jacket etc). I didn't even have to take my suitcase cause Dakine was big enough for the rest of my stuff ;o))) Very satisfied with my purchase!

Great Snowboard Bag

This is a great snowboard bag- fits everything you could possibly need inside and then some. I'm a smaller woman, but I was able to fit both boots in one of the outside pockets, leaving the other pocket free to stuff with all my cr@p. You might even be able to fit 2 decks with bindings inside the main compartment. Great for the price, looking forward to traveling with it!

good price on a good product.

Easily fits my board, boots, and bindings. Also plenty of extra room for the backpack, helmet, and clothes. Very satisfied.

The best bag for the buck.

This is the best bag for under $45 that I found. PROS: Pockets are great. Tarp on the inside is waterproof. CONS: Watch out for rust on your edges because it does not have any ventilation, I just dry off my board before I pack it. Definitely recommend it for the casual traveler.

Good product, good price.

Plenty of room for my board, bindings, and boots. Still plenty extra room for my backpack, helmet, and clothes. Love the individual compartments for the boots, keeps the dirt from your boots away from all your other stuff. Very satisfied.

NIce Sac

Excellent sack for your stick. Good zippers.....just enough room for size 11 boots - any bigger might be a bit of a cram. My only complaint is that it could have used a bit thicker padding on the edge side opposite of the carrying handle. After loading it up, there was a distinct "thunk" when I set it on the pavement the first time.....since then I have placed my pants, jackets and other soft stuff on the bottom and I am "thunkless".

I love this bag.

I purchased this bag to fly across the country with my board (I got a 157 bag and my board is 148 I think... I got a bigger bag in case I want a bigger board in the near future) and it was perfect! It held my board with the bindings, and the compartments had enough room to hold a sweatshirt, gloves, hats, socks, etc. (granted I have very small boots). I also was able to fit my jacket and ski pants in the large compartment with the board. It was easy to carry, and my board is still in great condition. I would highly recommend this bag!

I have a 144 board. Will the 157 be too...

I have a 144 board. Will the 157 be too big? Do they sell the Dakine Tour in smaller sizes? Thanks!

Responded on

naa. you don't want to go too small because you are going to likely pack other stuff in the bag too. the difference in size is actually very small. i would go with the 157. i went with the 165 with my board (which is a 157) and it fits perfectly.

Dakine Bag

Great Space Saver. Fit boots, 2 boards, pants, jacket, helmet, and 2nd board bindings all inside. Basically fit all my gear. Shoulder strap feels like it's going to tear, but so far, good. Only wish I had backpack straps with it (only negative)!

Tough bag that can hold it all

I picked up the 165cm for my 160cm board and it doesn't seem too big for the board. I can put my board, boots and some light clothes inside with ease. The tarp-lined inside keeps moisture from soaking into the material. And the padding is more than good enough for airline travel.

Highly Recomend!!!

This bad is the perfect bag for anyone who wants to snowboard and protect their investment. Lots of room to put gloves goggles snowpants. Boots fit into their places. Great buy!!!

perfect for travel and storage

i bought a 157 bag and it fit my 156 burton perfectly with bindings attached. took this on a cross country flight and the bag held up well. separate dual boot compartments are great, which the burton bags do not have. i had enough room to fit my pants, jacket, fleece, and gloves without the bag feeling overstuffed, allowing me to use my regular luggage for everyday clothes. i was originally going to buy a bag with wheels, but it didn't seem necessary during my trip.

Dakine snowboard bag is awesome

I bought this for my daughter and it is awesome. It keeps all of her snowboarding gear altogether so it doesn't get lost or forgotten.
