Description

Don’t walk around with your deck out.

The Dakine Tour Snowboard Bag ensures your next powder-huffing trip is as smooth and easy as a Chip-N-Dale at a cougar convention. Dakine padded this bag protect your deck from the drops, slams and javelin throws on the tarmac, and the top-entry boot pockets keep your board gear all in one place. Use the full-length zipper to easily access your ride, and lock the zipper tabs to prevent shady travelers from plucking your cargo.

Good bag

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Love the bag. Lots of room, plenty of space in the boot pockets. I was able to fix my board, bindings, boots, and week worth of clothes in the bag for a trip. Only complaint is that I got a tear in the outer fabric my last flight. I sowed it back together, but its not a hard shell, so things will happen traveling.

Good looking and solid bag

Bought this for a boarding trip to Colorado and it happily fit my 154 board, size 8 boots, and boarding jacket and pants. I could have fit more gear inside like my helmet but I was paranoid of the weight limit for Southwest. The padded shoulder strap does wonders since this thing is a pain lugging around the airport but it's still better then shelling out more for a wheeled bag.

I love this bag!

This was my first board bag and I love it. This bag will fit all my gear and then some. I love the separate pockets for the boots. It's a great bag for the price.

solid no frills

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This bag is every thing you would want.
Even though they advertise that it does not fit burton bindings I took mine off and they fit fine.
Nice and light too which is important when your only allowed 23 kg.

Perfect bag

Don't know what else I would want in a bag. This bag fits all my gear and is rugged enough to handle it all.

Much Larger Than Expected

Bought the 156 and was able to fit a 156 K2 Ray-gun board with bindings attached, a holt helmet, EG2 goggle case, 2 size 10 boots, a shell jacket, an insulated jacket (that doesn't pack very well), dakine gloves, a small 11" x 5" bag with tools, insulated pants, and a couple beanies with a little bit of planning but not much effort.

On the downside, it doesn't have wheels so carrying all that on a strap is a pain. The other drawback for me is the clasps for the shoulder strap are all a hard plastic which doesn't feel cheap but makes me think it won't last very long given the weight i'm subjecting it to.

Overall for ~$60 - $70 depending on the sale it's a great option and I recommend it as long as you're ok with the possibility of having to replace the shoulder strap clasps in a couple years.

Rookie Mistake

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I made a rookie mistake, so it's not the bag's fault, but I left a wet board in the bag for 2 weeks and the moisture wreaked havoc on my board. Rusted all over...My mistake, but for any other novice, be advised about the moisture issue. Other than that, this bag is awesome. The boot pockets are outstanding. I wear size 12 and they fit perfectly in the bag with a little space left over. Dakine have solid gear!

Satisfied

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been using this bag for a year now, and I'm satisfied. I own two boards, one which is kept in the Dakine Pipe bag (a great day bag) and the other in this Dakine Tour.

I use the Pipe for day-use, and the Tour for Airplane Rides, or 2-3 day local trips.
I'm all-around satisfied. I'd buy it again.

I have a 156 Rome Mod Rocker.. Would the 157 bag be suffice to hold the board plus size 8.5 boots? w/ any extra room to throw in gloves, pants and/or sweater?

Responded on

Definitely. If you want to pack a bunch of extra clothes and what not I'd size up, but for boots, gloves and a few extra items I'd go 157.

Will the 165 be big enough to put a 161 Wide board, a 157, a pair of size 10 boots, assorted gear, and enough padding to protect it?

Responded on

Yes but you will need to remove the bindings off of at least one of the boards.

Responded on

Should I just get a 175?

Bag Ridic!!

Great bag with plenty of room. Was able to hold my board with bindings on it and my girlfriend's board perfectly with spare room for the access(ory)-essential needed for the park. would recommend it to anyone looking for a good bag to travel on a flight or around town!!!!

Good bag

Simple and pretty much all you'll need to get your board from A to B. Not sure why people say this bag doesn't accommodate large boots. My size 12 boots fit fine in the pockets. I'm sure there are better bags, but I don't know why you'd need one unless you have multiple boards to pack.

SUPER BAG

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Seems the BAG is made for my gear. I'm a tall guy and required a longer / wider board. This bag fits my boots, board and bindings without a problem.

If you have questions make sure to ask the professionals online. I recieved advise that was honest and helpful. Nothing better than such a combination other than the cheap cost of the products.

I have wide 164 Burton snowboard would this fit in this bag with binding?
I thinking buying 165 or should I buy biger one?

Responded on

The dimensions for this bag are 65 x 12 x 6 inches. You should be fine, just make sure your board isn't wider than 12 inches (305 mm) but the wide boards I looked at in this size seem like they will fit fine.

GREAT BAG!!!

This bag is AWESOME!!! It is well padded, compartment to put your boots. Got the 157. Put my board and my brother in law's 157 board with probably 1/2 to spare. Packed my snowboarding clothes and some till you can't put no more and it weighed about 40 pounds. Didn't have to pay for excess size and weight.

Would a 157 board, not sure what brand, fit in a 157 bag and still have room for size 11 boots?
