The Dakine Tour Snowboard Bag ensures your next powder-huffing trip is as smooth and easy as a Chip-N-Dale at a cougar convention. Dakine padded this bag protect your deck from the drops, slams and javelin throws on the tarmac, and the top-entry boot pockets keep your board gear all in one place. Use the full-length zipper to easily access your ride, and lock the zipper tabs to prevent shady travelers from plucking your cargo.
The Rasta color option isn't available from any other retailer
Bottom Line: Dont walk around with your deck out.
I had a 160 long board. And the main question for me was will it fit in the 157 bag? Tightly, but it fitted! After putting some effort, I also managed to put my boots in one of those pocket. Shoulder strap doesn't seem very comfortable to me. In the whole I am happy with the bag.
This bag is sick. Fully padded all the way around and made of heavy polyester and a kinda tarp-like material on the inside(great for keepin the wet inside and not getting all over everything else). I picked up the 165 just to have a lil more room and I ride a Rome Machine 154w. HUGE boot pockets that def fit more than just your boots(and I have a size 12 boot). Nice industrial size zippers that felt so beefy i knew it would be hard to break and snatch my stash. In my answer to complete.gamer2376815d is a list of what i fit in it. I have been on a few trips with this bag and I have to say it has held up better than what I thought when I first got it. Picked up a 165 I picked mine up for $30 on whisky and obv couldnt let that go, so I ordered another for my brother haha. Needless to say, he was very pleased with it aswell. If you are not down for carrying your quiver all along the airport, then get the Low Roller. Yes it is more expensive, but it is made just the same and with the convienence of having wheels on it. Either way if you PACK it, it will be a lil heavy. Shoulder strap is really comfy and never bothered me on my adventures. All in all, Dakine made a solid bag that will last through any careless luggage handler. Buy it, you will not be dissapointed in the least
I have a 156 Rome Mod Rocker.. Would the 157 bag be suffice to hold the board plus size 8.5 boots? w/ any extra room to throw in gloves, pants and/or sweater?

Great bag with plenty of room. Was able to hold my board with bindings on it and my girlfriend's board perfectly with spare room for the access(ory)-essential needed for the park. would recommend it to anyone looking for a good bag to travel on a flight or around town!!!!
Might step it up to the next size up just to make sure you have room for your board and that other board you might need to tote to the slopes. Allows enough room for board binding and boots + 1 more board in case you have company. It will also allow enough room for any extra layers you might need and protective gear.
Boots are at the end of the board in seperate waterproof compartments. Best bag I have used/seen. Would fit 2 boards if you took bindings off one of them, otherwise fits boots, board, bindings, and a few days of clothes.
This should be plenty. This is about as much protection you can get with out getting a hard case. make sure to surround your board with clothes for further protection.
(Burton wheelie bag top, Dakine tour bottom) i could fit two boards easily in the burton wheelie bag and all my gear with out even trying, its a few inches bigger length and width wise. However for the money, the tour bag is the best bang for your buck. tour bag also has lots of room and you will love it.
i got this bag cuz i was didnt want to carry my board and another bag for my clothes and stuff also at home my snowboarding gear isnt laying around everywhere and space saver. the bag wasnt thick or had a lot of cushion as i thought but enough to keep everything inside safe and plus im not planning to take it on the plane. again fast shipping from dogfunk id just wish they didnt run out of hombre or black color in 165cm.
this bag is perf. I have the hombre 175cm, It fits my 161 wide libby skunk ape board with bindings on. I put my boots in between the bindings and use the boot pouches to fit other stuff. In the boot pouches i can fit 2 jackets rolled up in one and allllll my gloves, hats, goggles, etc. in the other. underneath the board i can fit 2 pairs of snowpants, 2 pairs of athletic pants, and a sweat shirt or 2. Everything fits rather smooth and organized. I havent used it through airlines yet but with in the next 3 weeks i will be. Hopefully i can finagle the weight under 50 pounds and they wont stick me for an over sized bag because of the size. Overall I think the bag is a great grab for the price, only negative i guess would be no wheels but who the f cares, man up and carry that shit. CHILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
did you get a bag that was true to size for the boots to fit or did you have to order one slightly larger? (I have a 154 and wanted to make sure my boots would fit)
I've got a 166cm board with Flow bindings (which if you're not familiar with, fold backwards instead of forwards because the toe straps are more-or-less "permanently" set so that you just need to set them once and you never mess with them again unlike most traditional bindings...check out the picture below) so my question is...would I be able to get away with the 165 bag? or if I have no other choice but to get the 175, is my board just gonna be sliding all over the place in it? ~Thanks a ton!

I got this bag and was surprised how good it was. The color was a little off but i like it better than the color in the picture. I got it in Bomber btw. Its slightly greenish.has plenty of padding, boots fit perfect and have room for other gear in the boot pockets like goggles case, beanies, socks. There is plenty of space between the bindings to throw jacket and pants....Its really a sweet bag!
I got this is in Bomber color and I gotta tell you this things is sick and looks indestructible. Fully padded with zipped pockets for your boots. The built quality is outstanding. Tarp-like material on the inside keeps water from messing up my car. Get with it!
Will my 153 board with bindings, boots and all other snowboarding gear (goggles, jacket, pants, masks and etc) fit into a 157CM bag or should i go with a 165CM bag? Thank you in advance!
This was my first board bag and I love it. This bag will fit all my gear and then some. I love the separate pockets for the boots. It's a great bag for the price.
Bought the 156 and was able to fit a 156 K2 Ray-gun board with bindings attached, a holt helmet, EG2 goggle case, 2 size 10 boots, a shell jacket, an insulated jacket (that doesn't pack very well), dakine gloves, a small 11" x 5" bag with tools, insulated pants, and a couple beanies with a little bit of planning but not much effort.
On the downside, it doesn't have wheels so carrying all that on a strap is a pain. The other drawback for me is the clasps for the shoulder strap are all a hard plastic which doesn't feel cheap but makes me think it won't last very long given the weight i'm subjecting it to.
Overall for ~$60 - $70 depending on the sale it's a great option and I recommend it as long as you're ok with the possibility of having to replace the shoulder strap clasps in a couple years.
I bought this bag for a trip to Denver and I was extremely pleased with the amt of padding and all of the room it provided. My son is very happy with it as he wanted something to protect his board. This is definately a good buy. Thanks Dogfunk Kg
This bag is AWESOME!!! It is well padded, compartment to put your boots. Got the 157. Put my board and my brother in law's 157 board with probably 1/2 to spare. Packed my snowboarding clothes and some till you can't put no more and it weighed about 40 pounds. Didn't have to pay for excess size and weight.
You should def go for the biggest they have, so im guessing a 165. I ride a Rome Machine 154w and I have a 165 bag. It fit everything I needed, gear wise, in it, and still had some space left. I fit boots size 12(in exterior pockets), jacket, pants, goggles, gloves, helmet and tools, 2 decks(154,158), XL bindings(not mounted) and still had a lil play. Its def a good buy as I have been on a few trips and there is VERY minimal wear and tear. So go for the 165 just to give you a lil room
Does pretty much everything it says it does. My 158" fit in with more than enough room (I bought a 166" bag just in case). Boots fit nicely in the pockets. Fits a jacket, pants, goggles and gloves too. All that stuff gets pretty heavy though, so as everybody esle has warned, get a bag with wheels if you're planning on walking through lots of airports.
If your ok carrying your bag then this bag will hold up just fine. I traveled across country last year and I didnt have any complaints. Depending on how much you travel you might want to consider getting a bag with wheels though.
I got the Northwood color of this bag and the graphic is sick! The bag is HUGE too! I got the 165cm and it fit my 162W board w/ L/XL Union Bindings, size 13 snowboard boots, my girls size 7 snowboots, my pants and jacket (XL), my girls pants and jacket (M), our socks, beanies gloves and some other small things. The bag itself seems pretty durable and the inner lining is made out of the plastic material that tarps are made out of so its weatherproof and you can get it dirty and clean up with just a wipe. Id definitely recommend this board if you want a good looking bag that can hold A LOT of sh*t!
I wrote a review and answered a few questions. In my reviews list what I brought in my bag, and I never had to pay over charges on any of my trips. So no, it prob won't. But I dont know how heavy your clothes would be, what size of boot you have or even the make of your board. It really depends on all of that lol. Just read my reviews and you can make the decision. Cheers!
bag is huge! fit 1 161cm flow board with bindings attached. 1 159 burton board with bindings not attached. snowboard clothes bibs pants jackets and a pair of 12 size rubber boots and 13size board boot. and thermals! great choice!
I bought this bag for my boyfriend for Xmas and he loved it, it has a lot of room and he was able to put extra clothes in it. He wanted another DC one but it was too expensive for a stocking stuffer! Good Buy!!!
The bottom line is that this bag holds a lot of gear and it seems to have sufficient padding for ding protection. My board is 157 and I bought a 165cm bag because I thought I would want more room for gear storage. In hindsight I would go for the 157cm bag to try and reduce luggage costs on flights. I've never really needed a bag before because I've always lived a short drive from Kwood or S. Tahoe. Now I live in Bumfuck, USA so I sprung for a bag in case I need to bring it on a plane or drive 8 hours to CO. Hence, since I have no previous comparison, I rate this bag 4 stars. Word to the MFer. Pray for snow.
My first bag so hard to compare to others. I will say that I was happy that it had room for all my gear for a recent trip. I checked just this bag on the plane and didn't have a carry on other than my boarding jacket! It had 159 board and bindings, helmet, boots, clothes for 3 days (stuffed here and there eg in helmet and boots), gator, board pants, toilet bag, flip flops, bathing suit and so on. It was tight but not difficult to close. A little heavy to carry long distances. Strap was moderately comfortable considering the weight. Probably suggest a roller to someone who can't comfortably walk around with 35lbs + of weight.
This bag is great. Fit my boots and a pair of shoes in the boot section. Added my jacket, pants, and sweatshirt in with the board which allowed extra room in the suitcase.
