DAKINE Transit Pack - 1100cu in - Women's - 2010

i have a big pack for hauling stuff but wanted a slightly smaller pack for bike riding (messenger bags make me feel off balance). this is really light and awesome! there is no laptop slot (what are you other reviewers talking about?!) and less padding but that cuts weight too. the bungie on the outside is nice for holding a towel if i'm biking to the beach, too. more awesomeness: sunglasses pocket, two water bottle pockets, color combo, price!, light synthetic material (i can shoot the whole bag down in the shower or spray it with 70% isopropyl alcohol)
what it's missing: key clip!! all my other DaKine bags have a clip for your keys and i really miss that! i bought a [wallet] chain and attached it to the loop on the outside of the bag so when i open the organizer pocket the world doesn't come spilling out. :P

Pretty decent for the price, and the perfect size to carry a 15" or smaller laptop plus a few books and other crap. I got the cheetah print, which is far less noticeable than it looks on the website. It kind of just looks like a slightly shiny black colour, you don't notice the print until you get really close. The inside lining is bright rainbow paint splash fabric, it looks sweet. Oh yeah, it doesn't have a specific laptop pocket like it says on the site, just one main area plus the external pockets.

I got the cheetah print, nice, thought it was going to be bigger, but I'm happy with it.
