Take your bathroom goodies for a trip.

Empty your medicine cabinet into the DAKINE Travel Kit and hit the road to Grandma's house or the mountain ... just don't forget your toothbrush. A bi-fold design opens up to reveal your daily grooming essentials, and a nifty hanging hook allows you to secure the kit on towel-racks or loops. Ample pocket space separates your foot cream from your floss and your face wash from your nail-polish remover (thankfully).

Good capacity, size

This thing was great until my backpack (which had this in it) got stolen by some Seattle meth head. It had enough room for all the basics: tooth brush, tooth paste, deodorant, shaving cream/razor, clippers, mini GI Joe figurines, etc. and didn't take up much room in the pack. Good product.

Serves Its Purpose Well

Could not ask for anything more out of a toiletry kit. Once again Dakine has produced another quality product that I'm sure will be around for years to come.

Works great to build your own first aid kit....

So I actually bought this to build a first aid kit. I didnt want to spend the crazy amount of $$$ for a prebuilt kit, just to get a bunch of band aids. I needed something that will hold a lot, and open flat. This works great. I can hold numerous 4x4, triangular bandages, gloves, ace wraps, wound closers etc.

Travel kit success

This is a great product! A bit bulkier than my last travel kit, which was just a single pocket bag. The Dakine kit holds everything I need, easily accessible, and still folds down pretty flat. Plus the green is wicked cool. I've never had a hanging travel kit before and I hope this one lasts a long time. I've taken it on 2 trips so far and have had no problems. The pockets are fairly well designed and the zippers are very sturdy. The only criticism is that the open slots at the top are not very deep - definitely not deep enough to hold a toothbrush, nor wide enough to hold deoderant. I ended up using one for bandaids and 2 others for prescription meds.

Definitely Recommend

This travel kit bag is terrific. It has plenty of size for full size shaving cream bottle, tooth brush w/ case / razor / electric razor / deodorant / cologne / hair product / & floss (All are full size). I am very happy with the purchase. The construction is lightweight, but seems very durable. I purchased this to match the travel bags I also got and I love them all!

I see the clear portion, is that by chance...

I see the clear portion, is that by chance detachable for carry-on liquid case? If so that would be bomb to have that option. Take it off for security then put it back. And don't tell TSA I said bomb!

A travel necessity

Hey, it does what it's supposed to do. What more can you say.

Huge Fan

Plenty of storage, strong zippers and durable case. Well organized on the inside and big enough for just about everything you would need for a weekend or more on the road.

Almost perfect for men

If you're a dude (or even a dudarett), the Dakine Travel Kit is just about all you'll need for carrying your travel toiletries. I got the Kernigan version which is funky cool in its design (the look just seems right for my ski trips), and comes with enough space for all your essentials and then some. There are two zippered inside pockets, one large open pocket, and one detachable (via velcro attachment) plastic bag with zippered entry. There's a hanging hook inside so you can hang the bag in its opened state (which I don't find all that useful...).
In my case, I can carry shampoo & conditioner (two 8.4 oz bottles), five ~2.5oz bottles (toothpaste, aftershave, deodorant, sun block, and hair paste/gel), a 5.1 oz bottle of hair styling treatment (yeah yeah, I got lot of hair stuff and I'm a guy....don't hate), a floss, a toothbrush, and few smaller containers (o.5 oz bottles) in the travel kit without much difficulty. The construction seems pretty durable, definitely a high value buy in my opinion. Hence, I highly recommend it!
