DC Bender Snowboard - 2010

DC built the Bender Snowboard for advanced rippers looking for a versatile all-mountain freestyle board that rides from pow to park as effortlessly as a steak fry travels from dipping sauce to stomach acids. DC Bender Anti-Camber technology floats in the pow like a leaf on water, and delivers a catch-free ride in the park so you don’t bust your ass the first week of the season.

  • Medium-flex profile combined with carbon and KEVLAR® reinforcements and a slightly stiffer nose and tail offers stability and carving power at hyper speeds along with the power to conquer the largest features in the park
  • Flat Zone mid-section with softer profile helps the Bender Snowboard float in pow; Bender anti-camber sections between the outer binding inserts and the upturn in the tip and tail deliver a more freestyle feel with added float and press-ability
  • Infinite blend sidecut generates power through turns and delivers effortless turn initiation with rapid response so you can correct mistakes without exaggerated diggers
  • Aeron core is lightweight and poppy for a smooth ride; ultra light tip and tail create a low swing weight; carbon and KEVLAR reinforcements add stability, snap, rapid response and extra life to your board
  • Dual Radius tip and tail profiles provide optimum performance for all-mountain riding
  • Full-wrap pre-treated steel edges protect and prolong the life of your board
  • Assorted die cut graphics

Bottom Line: A true quiver killer.

Dude 153 for sho. Youd be shooting yourself in the foot if ya got a 156 for park. And ya will be stable on a 153 outside the park.

The DC Bender is a great anti(reverse) camber board. I'm no expert on these boards but I've never ridden a board that has such great feel between the feet. The edge holds great going it to effortless turns. It pops super nice and has great response. My favorite part of this board is that it is made to be more of an all mountain board. It isn't super soft so you can cruise, ride powder and trees, and ride park.

This is more all-mountain and stiffer due to the use of carbon and Kevlar reinforcements. The PBJ is more at home in the park or in the streets and is a softer board. Go with the bender.

Well it all depends on if your still growing and what size you wanna get. You wanna get a size that will transition with your growth. Or just try to get a board thats not too expensive, just so you dont have to break the bank every time you wanna get a new deck. The DC Bender is an all around killer. Just like the reviews say, you can take it from park to pow to all over. So this deck would be a good long lasting deck and will do you for a few years. There's a lot out there from traditional camber to reverse and varrying technologies in between. But if you like the deck then definately grips it, you will not be dissapointed. If not check out Rome boards or some Nitro boards. But DC kills it with their decks still. But this deck will be with you for years if you decide to grab it

Hey i ride park almost everyday and ive been riding a k2 parkstar 149 but it got stolen a few days back. Im just curious how this board compares to it because im in need of a new board now and i want one that is similar. i really liked the stability of the parkstar even though it had reversed camber since the stiffness seemed to be a perfect match. thanks in advance for any info

depends on what kind of riding you will be doing, 146 is more of a free ride board for you and is already kinda big for the park, 149 is way too big for the park and is pushing it for freeiding, you really should look for a smaller size
