Description

Winter boots don't need to be boring.

Between the synthetic insulation and faux fur trim, the DC Women's Chalet Slim Apres Boots pack all the warmth you need to continue your daily grind even when it involves plodding through foot-deep snow. CTR Pill-pattern soles keep you upright when you're crossing slick sidewalks, because nothing makes you feel worse than taking a digger on totally flat ground in front of everyone.

Love Love Love these boots!!

They keep you fairly warm, wore them to the snow in California & to the snow in Indiana..still warm. Comfy & way cute, cuter in person than online. Better to use these in the rain & snow than your ugg boots!

The sizes for the DC Chalet Slim is in US Women's sizes. Please see the "View Sizing Chart" option to convert the sizes to non US sizes. That is located in the grey box just above the Add to Cart button.

DC chalet 'se'are the way to go!

Love the look-reason why I bought these...

But I wished I'd bought a size bigger being as they're 'slim fit', it can get a tad constricting.

Not great for warmth...

We had over a foot of snow recently-they weren't very water proof after a few hours...

One boot has a longer lace than the other-kinda lame...but really not an issue.

But they're easier to put on and do up than I thought. i.e (not having to undo every bloody lace to get your foot in and out)

But they tend to pinch and dig in around your ankles painfuly for the first few weeks so expect bruising and pain...

But when you have comitted yourself to these gorgeous boots and have spent some time breaking them in.

You start to think 'well actually they're not too bad and they look awesum'- so thats that really!

So yeah i'd recomend the the original DC chalet se boots!-I miss mine badly....

especially when they're way cheaper, warmer and comfortable and generally a better boot!

good boots!

i get tons of compliments on the boots; most people are surprised to see that they are DC boots. i've worn them in the NYC snow and mess, and my feet are dry. they're not as warm as other are, but it's nothing a good pair of socks won't fix.

they were also a bit stiff and tight at first, but after breaking them in with a few days of wear, they're quite comfortable.

Water resistant, but by no means completely waterproof.

Are these boots knee high, or half calf high?

Responded on

I'm 5'2", this boot comes pretty close to my knees. They are quite tall. If you are on the taller end of the spectrum they would be closer to calf length but probably still close to the knee.
