Yes boys and girls are considered a youth size. The only difference between the girls and boys is the color options. Thanks

The DC Character Skate Shoe looks great on my boy. They are by far his favorite shoes. I had to return the first pair due to the size running small. He is a 1.5 in size. I bought a 2 and it was too tight. The 3 is about right with just a bit of room to grow. He is pretty hard on shoes so they typically wear out before he out grows them. These are holding up well. We might even be able to pass them down to his little bro.

skate shoes r us sizes and a boy hat would probably be a size 7 and the size has nothin to do with his age
