Description

The DC Fuse Women’s Jacket, class is in session.

Put on the DC Fuse Women’s Jacket and ignite the mountain with your moves. The Fuse Jacket blocks light wind and snow thanks to a 5K water-resistant shell and an attached storm hood. Critically-taped seams keep water out, and Underarm zips let air in when you’re running hot. The standard fit keeps the Fuse comfortable, and a media pocket protects your MP3 while you school the posers on the terrain park.

I was so thrilled when I received my jacket. It was better than what I expected, it looked totally hot on the snow, I received so many comments about it. Just great, highly recommend

DC tends to run a tad small. I'd go with the Medium.

Is this jacket waterproof enough for Australia and NZ slopes?

Well 5,000 K is a pretty low waterproof rating and better suited for dryer conditions or just really dry snow. So if you are in an area with very wet and cold conditions then the waterproofing on this jacket will not last an incredibly long time. You may want to look at something with a higher rating.

I had last season's DC Fuse and got another one this season, which I wear on Ruapehu. I find I've had no problem with it, just because it's not that heavy you will need to layer it on those extremely cold days!!

So there's no normal side pockets?

Yes there are. There are two front cargo style pockets. If you click on the White Multi Camo colorway in the detail views you can see them much more clearly.

Bought this jacket for my girlfriend and she loves it. Nice and cool, so she doesn't get too hot and sweaty, and plenty of pockets for all the bits and pieces ladies like to take with them.

Great colours too, a real stand out on the slopes.

Okay, so I bought this coat this year, and its been pretty good for the last month or so that I have had it. It is water proof, and when it does survive through the rain it dries off relatively fast. It feels really thin, but in the fall weather we've had lately it has been pretty warm. It is super bright and gets really good compliments so far. The only problem would be that the pockets are all in the front of the coat and you can't slip your hands in them like you would in normal coats because there are none! Other than that this coat is pretty bomb! I would recommend it any day!
