These pants are sized a little small, so I'd say a large will fit you most comfortably. Medium will probably be too short and tight in the waist.

Too tite

The pants are too tight, when I bent over to strap in, my pants ripped. I got a larger size so it can fit well but it was way to tight. 😞

I imagine that mediums will be the most comfortable. They'll give you just a little extra room in the waist, but you might need to cinch the waist tabs or wear a belt.

Good pants

I'm 5'10 and 32 waist and the medium fit pretty much perfect, using the velcro tabs to tighten the waist a little. I bought these pants to walk around in snow and rain in Japan. They are well made and comfortable. I would use long underwear in temps in the 30s and high 20s. I didn't use them skiing or snowboarding and would have preferred more padded pants for that. But, overall they looks good and feel great.

my son is 6'2 and wears 32x34 - should I get medium or large?

my son is 6'2 and wears 32x34 - should I get medium or large? I think the medium will be too short in length and large to big in the waist.

Hi Bellabaur, I think your son will be happier with size large. It's better to have snow pants be a little too loose than a little too tight. The larges will have more freedom of movement, and he'll be able to wear layers if necessary.

Also, these pants have belt loops and adjustable Velcro waist cinches to customize fit. Go with the larges and he will be happy.

Fresh to death

By:
February 18, 2013

Spent a few days in zero degree weather with them and they kept the wind out pretty good. Like the other comments, they are very true to size.

I am 6'2, 200 athletic build and normally wear one pair of longjohns and one pair or sweat pants but these only allow longjohns. I fit two under without them getting real tight on my thighs.

In the end, they look great, block wind and are true to fit. Steal at 55$

Very thin and light yet very warm

By:
February 13, 2013

I would reccomend these pants for more slender and long individuals. I love the pants but i got a bit of thickness to me so there isnt much room to layer underneath. Not that i need it though cause these pants are super warm.

The large ... But they will be very long on you. These pants are "tailored cut" which means they are awesome on tall thin athletic bodies. My friend is 5'11" and wears a 32" 34" pant. The large looks AWESOME on him.

Awesome Pants...A bit small

By:
November 17, 2012

They have great movement, leingth and texture. They are breatheable and warm...WITH LAYERS. That being said you may want to order a size up if you want to layer them with anything more than longjohns... unless you'r body type is athletic. And VErY true to size. Because when it says 34" it is EXACTLY that.
