A fully seam taped Exotex shell and 60 grams of synthetic insulation gives the DC Helix Men’s Jacket serious performance when it comes to weather protection. The removable hood and removable waist gaiter let you bundle up for nasty weather or strip the unneeded stuff when you head out on a toasty day. DC included an internal media pocket to keep your MP3 player within reach when you need some extra motivation on the hill.

This jacket is very good. In fact it's so good that I haven't even noticed anything about it -- everything is seemless and I have no complaints what so ever.
I really like the mp3 pocket.
The jacket is of high quality and it looks great in the slopes.

I just got this jacket today and it seems GREAT! I love the zippable vents and the iPod pock/goggle squeche(however you spell that). This is my first snowboard jacket and I got the olive night color for only $60! Since there's no snow I can't give an acurate review, but I will write another when the season comes. The reason I gave it a 4 star is because to me it doesn't seem warm enough or very thick, but you just need a decent sweatshirt and that can fix that. Also the hand gators seem a tad to thin for my liking and seem like they can rip VERY easily. I hople I'm wrong about that. But in overall the jacket seem great, dependent, and nice quality for a $60 jacket. I hope this review helps you and I will write another when the season come around!

ou can see all the velcro that holds the flap that covers the zipper. It does a great job, I just unzipped my coat for the picture and did not push the flap down for the Velcro to catch

Ok so yes I am a chick writing a review about a dudes jacket. I got this in a small and it is kinda big on me. I normally wear a medium/large in womens jackets. This is the coaching jackets they got this year. I think the color is hideous...but that is beside the point. It has been a good durable jacket for me. It is warm and and has good features. there is a balaclava in a packet around the back of the neck. It was yellow. The music napoleon pocket is nice and there is even a little mesh pocket to put your head phones in when you are not using them. over all good jacket.

Whatup Weston. DC gear is pretty oversized. Large will fit you just fine and still be a little baggy. XL will be really baggy.

This jacket has it all! im about 6 ft 180 pounds and a medium fits me perfect. Stole this jacket when it was on sale for 90 bucks and it is by far the best purchase i have made this decade. Pockets galore, lapis is eye popping and i get compliments everytime i wear it. The ninja mask is my favorite feature and it looks gangsta. it keeps me warm all day i just wore it in 50 mpr winds and it kept me warm and dry longggg after all my friends went to the lodge for the day. and on the warm ass sunny days the vents are HUGE so it gets great ventilation. spend the money you will NOT regret it, most comfy jacket i have ever worn gotta love DC!!!

If you're getting the Lapis style-go with red pants for sure. Yellow pants would look aight but red will clinch the deal.

I picked up the lapis color and I love it!
I've gotten so many compliments on the color it's ridiculous.
On this jacket there are so many accessories. There are too many pockets to count, there's an ipod pocket on the outside of the jacket (the pocket's usually on the inside) so you don't have to open your jacket to access your music, plus there's a hole for the cable to run on the inside of the jacket. It has a powder skirt, zip vents for cooling, season pass holder, a detachable yellow ninja ski mask next to the hood, and more. It's very warm and gets the job done.
The only negative is the season pass holder. The pass isn't totally visible so you might have to take it out to show some liftys. Other than that I love it.

Yes, DC calls it a "removable head gaiter" which is a ninja mask in short. Ninja's are tight, DC knows it, you know it, we know it. Stows away for when you're not using it.
