Description

Ride strong all day.

The DC Judge Men’s Snowboard Boot uses a dual Boa Focus lacing system to give you a precise fit in seconds that’s easily adjustable on the hill or on the lift. Never again do you have to worry about a fit that’s too loose to too tight. DC’s engineered 3D tongue to eliminates pressure points, so you can ride all day without a hint of discomfort. EVA midsoles soften the impact when you touch down after a 40 foot gap, so you don’t feel like you’ve been running barefoot when you’ve actually been slaying the terrain park.

dc got it right!

My wife got the Mora boots which the womens version of these boots. She has tried a lot of high end boots and always had a problem with her heel coming up until she got the Mora's. She loved them so much she got me these and I love them. We were both riding high end Burton boots and the DC's are so much better in every way.

My wife had a small problem with her boot and DC stood behind their product and took care of the problem right away. They have great customer support.

We have also tried 32 boots-nice but way too wide and too much room in the toe, vans-heavy hated them, Salmon-felt great, good fit but I didn't like the laces. They would come undone, and were a pain.

Hope this helps you find a good boot. It is important for your riding.

I will always wear DC's from now on.

The Perfect Boot

I got these boots a few weeks ago now and although i havnt had em in the snow yet, ive been wearing em around the house like slippers to keep warm. They are sooooo comfortable, they have heaps of support, and with the double boa system its so easy to have em anywhere from falling off to turning your foot blue. Best $ ive ever spent on my feet : ) They are smaller than you'd expect so ide suggest trying them on in a store before buying.

Awesome boots... just questionable durability.

I am a complete newb when it comes to snowboarding. I can't even carve the snow yet. Anyway, I decided to buy the boots so that I don't have to always pay for rentals. When I was shopping aroud, I found that I really like the design of the white DC Judge 09/10 boots. Unfortunately, all the local stores I've tried doe not carry the 8.5 size that backcountry did! (Mad props to backcountry!)Well, I ordered the 8.5 because I wear regular tennis shoe size 8.5 (at rentals, I wear 8 Head brand), and was told that DC boots tend to run one size smaller. I took the advice from BCountry, and ordered the 8.5When I got them, I tried it out. It seemed pretty tight fit. I thought that after a day of boarding, the cushion would pack out, and my foot will feel better. It turns out that it wasn't enough. Everytime I do heal or toeside stopping, I could feel my toes having to curl because it was reaching the wall of the boots. (That's the only reason why I'm returing it)As far as how good the boots are, I love the dual boa system. Makes a good tight fit. It's light. I was wearing it for over 8 hours, and it felt like regular work boots. One thig that I'd knock down a star is that the bottom of the boots, the rubber part, seems to be pretty fragile. after one day of boarding, I noticed a lot of shavings in the boot. I don't know it's normal or not, but it seems that with the amount of shavings done, the boot will last at most 2-3 seasons worth of boarding.Fit wise, it's great when you find the right size. Very comfortable soles. Lacing system is great due to the dual boa system. Design of it is eye popping. (Though, white does get dirty fast).BackCountry Staff is great too!

Awesome!

Great boot overall. The duel-BOA works great. Up until now my heel would always lift up; but no more...

If you're thinking about purchasing these, consider the size. I normally ride a size 10; however, I had to step up to a 10.5 in these babies.

Alomst perfect

Except for how they fit in the toe box these are the best boots I've ever worn. Had they fit better in the toes I would have kept them. Just the right flex for me, the double BOA is great, and the best heel hold of any boot I've ever worn.

Your spelling is alomst perfect.

DC Judge rules

Awesome boot. I usually wear a size 10.5 street shoe, and size 9.5 ski boot and size 10 snowboard boot. I bought these in 11s...they run small. Best ankle hold/grip of any boot i've tried. total ankle grip without any pinching. lots of volume in the forefoot (maybe too much...and i have wide foot). Just stiff enough without being too stiff. Dual boa system is magic. works like a charm.

Great Boots!

Love them. My Burton Custom X wasn't giving me the response I expected from it with my Hail boots. I put these boots on and the board performs beyond my expectations now.

AWESOME BOOT

Great boots for everything on the mountain. Very supportive, but still flex very well. The BOA system works great and lets you dial in the boot as tight or loose as you want it. Good amount of padding and the sole soaks up any hard hits great.

sweet boot

They are a probably the best boots I have had so far, but the only con I would have is that they fit small. I usually wear a size 10 boot and a 9.5 shoe, so I bought the 10 boot. My toes are crunched against the front...so looks like i need a size 11. (first time I have ever needed a size 11 in anything)

Just got my boots.

The size was just as I guessed it was. Not The boots looks really cool, and fit good. Has velcro straps inside for a better fit. Havent worn them out in the snow yet, but walked around and and they feel comfortable.

The only con was that where the stitching is you can see all the layers of the boot. Make it look kind of cheap. My old boots you couldnt see that, but I still give it 4 out of 5 stars.

DC Judge

Tried on many different brands, and these were perfect from get-go. Right degree of stiffness, good lock/grip on heel (no slipping), comfortable, dual boa system for right amount of customizing fit, and very cool looking. They do run small though so go half to a full size larger than normal.

Great Boots - Fit Small

normally wear a size 11... tried 11 and 11.5 but it was finally 12 that fit.

fits great other than that.

toe box is roomy

Best boots ever for splitboarding!

I spend most days touring on my splitboard in the Wasatch.... These boots are great! They are a narrower fit so they probably won't be that great if you have tree stumps for feet. For us with normal to narrow feet these fit awesome! For touring on a split I can keep the boots lose while hiking and then when it's time to make a run, crank down the boots WITH my gloves ON! Then at the end of my run (or going into the lodge on resort days) just pull the knob and bam! Nice and loose just like that, for walking around in! DC's fit and shell size has gotten consistently better the last few years and these are the first boots I've owned in 10 years that weren't Salomon as their fit and shell size was industry leading for years. I wear sz 10.5 street shoes and ride sz 10 in these boots comfortably.

a little stiff, but not bad at all

These are my first pair of BOA boots, and I'm already in love with the dual boa system. So easy to put these things on, and reduces time standing bootless and freezing in the snow when getting ready to head up. The dual boas make it easy to adjust the fit for your foot. They're pretty stiff boots, so hiking in them can be a little awkward, but they ride very nicely. no slipping, plenty warm, comfy, and responsive.

Hi guys. Firstly can I check if you ship to Australia? Second Ive been thinking about purchasing the judge for a while but am worried they are gunna kill my feet as I usually wears 32's. Do you have any kind of exchange or returns policy if they slaughter my feet?

Cheers

We can ship DC to you, to find out how much, just add it to your cart. DC's are plenty comfortable, if you're not over-stoked, jsut return 'em, no ?'s asked.

Stiff and responsive

I have owned this boot for two years now and am very happy with it. What I like most is how much I can customize the fit to my foot. Dialing in is very convenient and fast, besides the fact that I can change it while waiting in line at the lift. Moreover, there is an air pump that fills out all the remaining space between your ankle and the side of the shoe. I like my boot pretty stiff and this way I can ensure that. I have no problems with pressure points or chafing. I did take some time to break these boots in but that is probably true for all boots. I highly recommend these to anyone who is interested in the BOA lace system and a responsive stiff boot.

Ordered these boot in 11.0 which i usually run a 10.5-11.0 size. they were small so beware that you may want to step up a half size. i am still waiting on my 11.5 to be shipped out.

I bought a pair of 2009 at a LBS and found them to run large. I normally wear a 9.5 or 43 (9.5 is truly 43.5) but they felt quite big to me once I had the BOA tightened down in the toe box.

Responded on

I ran into the same problem with mine. I normally wear 10.5 shoes, so figures size 11 boots would fit fine with socks. Well, been breaking them in to get ready for this weekend and not very comfortable between foot and shin. Feel it diggin in a little. That's the last thing I want to deal with up on the mountain.

Tried loosening it up a little... anyone have any suggestions?

PS: Stupid me bought them at REI in the "used" section thinking I got a deal at $150. Plus being stupid enough to believe the sales guy who said they normally ran $300. Now I'm screwed since I can't return/exchange them.

AWESOME BOOTS

I have last years version and they are sick...great fit from day 1, no break-in period and the BOA are awesome

Responded on

BOA is the way to go with snowboard boots, i've been riding boa boots for 6 years and have never had any issues with them breaking like some people say happens, and being able to twist a nob to tighten the boot sure beats taking off gloves to tie laces on cold days
