DC Mega Snowboard

Step it up to the big booter with the DC Mega Snowboard. The jump board of choice for heavy hitters Torstein Horgmo and Aaron Biittner, the Mega is a traditional camber board made for going huge. The Lock and Load camber and Fresh Deck topsheet give you tons of pop off the lip, while the sintered Structurn base keeps the Mega going so fast people will think you stole it.

  • Lock & Load camber features traditional camber through the midsection of the board, but with longer contact points to create a flat, stable, catch-free platform for locking on and loading up the tip and tail
  • Stratus core made from poplar makes the Mega super poppy, while the biax glass construction still keeps it feeling loose enough for jibbing
  • Fresh Deck topsheet made from natural wood gives it that fresh-out-of-the-wrapper skate deck pop
  • Radius-to-Flat shape features flat surfaces on the tip and tail for extra float in powder
  • Structurn base uses golf ball-like dimples to break water tension so you glide faster, farther
  • Stoneground 7200 Sintered Supreme base delivers lightning-fast speed and survives hard hits in the park or in the wild
  • Each size features a different graphic, so choose carefully; 153.77cm is the Torstein Horgmo pro model, and 156.5 is the Aaron Bittner pro model

Bottom Line: Next step, triple cork.

How jibby is this board? I know that it kills jumps but I was wondering how it handled on rails, and boxes and if it presses easily and locks into slides easily.

This board will jib, but it's on the stiffer side so it won't press quite as well as a softer board. This will be great at big jumps and handling higher speeds, and will lock into rail tricks fine, but if rails are your thing you might want to look at a slightly softer board.
