Next step, triple cork.

Step it up to the big booter with the DC Mega Snowboard. The jump board of choice for heavy hitter Torstein Horgmo, the Mega is a traditional camber board made for going huge. The Lock and Load camber and Fresh Deck topsheet give you tons of pop off the lip, while the sintered Structurn base keeps the Mega going so fast people will think you stole it.

Lock & Load camber uses traditional camber and extends the length of the transition zones to create a super-stable ride without sacrificing any of the pop and power of camber, make it ideal for rider who like to go really fast and really big. DC replaced toxic plastic topsheet materials for a Fresh Deck topsheet that uses a ply of wood to give it the poppy feel of a crispy skate deck. The Stratus poplar core keeps it feeling light and lively, and biax glass ensures it's still buttery enough to get down on rails with.

  • Traditonal camber with extended transition zones
  • Twin shape
  • Biax fiberglass
  • Stratus wood core
  • Fresh Deck topsheet
  • Sintered base

Great board for all around park

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

So I was looking for a good all around park board that was good for taking off jumps and hitting rails. Also looking for a smaller size as well. Ended up with the mega 150. I'm 5"9 160lbs and this board pops extremely nice off jumps or flat land, but it is not easy to press. I'm still able to nose press on rails but they are not extremely high or anything. I've rode a battleon evil twin and nitro T1.5 this year and the mega is the stiffest out of them all,but is still Just as playful as the others. You just have to work a little bit. One last thing Is I ride union contacts and don't seem to get a great response from the board so maybe a medium stiff binding will help as well.

Is this a good board for doing presses and jibs

Responded on

Not if you are looking for a jib specific board. This is definitely a stiff big jump board! really lively and poppy! not a jib board. The PLY is a softer version of this board and might be a better option
