DC made both the hood and powder skirt removable, so you can add or remove protection as you see fit. Plus, thanks to the internal media pocket, you can let the tunes crank when you need some extra stoke.

I got this jacket for the heavy wet snow in WA. I never tried in on before buying it on line but it is the best purchase I made this season (other than my B-Street GNU). Its light weight, has tons of pockets and I get a compliment every time I wear it.
