11.5 DC is "true to size" witch means your shoe size is your boot size... when you get them they might feel a little small but all DC boots pack out around a half size...... hope that helped

I wear a 10.5 shoe with a small amount of toe room, i bought the same size Phase boot and my toes are slightly crammed, but i hear they break in after awhile. Flex is medium, and i can see where they might become more flexible over time because the leather acts alot like shoe leather which also breaks in easy. They are very warm, padded nicely and look even fresher than in the picture in person.

So they have a tight fit but will break in and keep you warm. But will they keep tight in powder.

Yeah they stay tight in powder. I owned mine for 2-3 seasons and hated them. Save up and extra hundred bucks and buy a good pair of Burton or 32 boots, your feet will thank you!

They will keep you dry for a full day of snowboarding. If you stand in a puddle or try surfing in them you will get wet. As time goes on the waterproofing will wear down so getting a good tech spray is always a good idea.
