Sneaker comfort meets shred-worthy support.

Finnish phenom Iikka Backstrom prefers the DC Rogan Snowboard Boot due to its comfy liner, lightweight construction, and simple, functional design. The traditional lace closure and a moderate flex add up to a solid, versatile boot that'll handle just about anything—lace 'em up tight before high-speed tree runs, or run the uppers a bit looser when it's time to get jibby.

  • Bravo liner features multi-density cushioning for a blend of support and comfort, J-bars for heel hold, and an antimicrobial finish for odor resistance
  • Direct Power Lacing uses 3D-molded overlays in the boot's upper to provide maximum leverage for smooth, even closure
  • Articulated cuff for a smooth flex with no creases or pressure points
  • UniLite outsole delivers solid traction, durability, and shock absorption while dramatically reducing weight

A few mishaps, but DC quality FTW

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I ordered these boots right before going on a trip. They arrived the day before I left; and while the box indicated the correct size and color, the boots themselves were .5 smaller and a different color scheme. I decided to take them on my trip anyways, along with my old boots just in case discomfort became an issue. A few days later, these boots were broken in and feeling great, so I decided to keep them. Comfortable boots with an easy lacing system that doesn't falter. I ride quite a bit and have broken two different special lacing systems (BOA and Burton's speed dial) this season alone. Forget all that, laces are the way to go! And DC does it right. I'm only giving four stars just because of the shipping mishap in hopes DOGFUNK REMEMBERS THIS AND HOOKS ME UP NEXT TIME!

Just bought these, anything I should know so I'm not disappointed when they arrive? Not to picky in my boots, like them comfortable and stiff. Flexy makes me feel unsafe haha.

I'm a freerider and I do powder and moguls. I picked these boots because I wanted strong thick leather that was not going to bend or stretch and I wanted a lot of strength at the points the binding were going to hold. Lastly I did not want my ankles to jiggle a millimeter inside. It may be a little more work but I prefer tightening my boots up with laces rether than depend on a wire.

When i picked out these boots I did not even know they were DC. I was looking for cetian qualities.

Support and strength at my ankles - This boot gives it.

The only litlle downfall (but I consider it minor) is that the bottom of the boot has little grip and can be slippery, but I'm not there to go hiking.

I bought the grey

are these true to size? It is recommended that you order the 2012 model a full size larger. Is that true for the 2013's?
