Description

You don't just ride; you scout out the best way to get the most out of your season.

If you're the kind of guy who's willing to get up early, hit the lift first, and make park laps before most people finish breakfast, then you'll probably love the DC Men's Scout Snowboard Boot. Why? Because the Scout's easy-in, easy-out cable system, medium flex, and low price tag leave you more time to shred, more room to express your style, and more extra cashola to spend on a board upgrade.
  • Boa cable lacing system offers a rapid in and out while providing a precise fit with the simple turn of a dial
  • Command liner utilize anatomical J-bars at the sides of your ankle to provide stability during big landings
  • Aggressive tread on the outsole offers grip when it's time to spend the day hiking the pipe

Feels Cheap

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Very lightweight, plastic moon-shoe kind of feel. I returned right after receiving because it simply doesnt feel well built. Both soles and upper seem like a cheap shoe. Cosmetically looks nice though.

im wondering if these boots will be stiff...

im wondering if these boots will be stiff enough for hard landings or big kickers and im not sure how good the boa lacing system is? cause ive heard lots of rumors that it breaks or its so tight it cuts through the boot over time and that the dial gets loose and it can randomly undo itself while riding!! anyone have any answers for meEE?!?!!!?!?

Hey Hyrum,

Really depends how big we are talking. These are a good medium stiffness boot but stiffness alone isn't what you should be concerned with if you're stomping big booters. Boa lacing is sick. The tongues material won't allow the boa to cut the boot and the system rarely fails like you mentioned.

All in all this is a good inexpensive boot but not recommended for "big" booters.

Good fit

Wore them for the firest time! Toes feel good. Good buy for a good price. I have a wide foot and didnt have much of a problem. For anyone who compares there shoe size to there boot size. I normally wear a size 12 Nike running shoe and went woth the 11 1/2 on these and it was the right fit. Toes almost touched in the front but once I went down the mountain they broke in quite nice!

pretty dope

i got the white/gray ones and i am way down. i usually wear between 10.5 and 11, and got the 11s and they fit perfect. They are comfortable and warm, and very light as far as weight goes, and allow you a lot of control. I also like how they look. Definitely recommend.
