On the lookout for fun anywhere on the mountain.
Out-of-the-box comfort, convenient entry and exit, and a lightweight, soft-flexing feel make the DC Men's Scout Boa Snowboard Boot an easy choice for almost any rider. Whether you're a park-slaying veteran or you're looking for your first pair of boots, the Scout promises comfort and performance you can count on.
Trying to use your frozen fingers to fiddle with your laces when you're at the top of the mountain is the worst. The Boa H3 Coiler system features a Boa dial so you can get the fit just the way you like it in an instant. A softer flex gives it a comfy, forgiving feel and allows you to tweak your tricks more easily. The Red liner features multi-layer EVA memory foam for a comfy fit, and Unilite replaces rubber in the outsole to shave weight and improve rebound without sacrificing durability or traction.

- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
These boots are AWFUL. I used them the whole 2013-2014 season. These boots lack the pressure that should be put on the top of your foot, and instead create the WORST pressure pains on your lower shins/ankles. After no more than two hours you will have to stop and unloosen these completely in order to refrain from losing your shins to pain. On top of the awful pressure pains, they do not hold your foot down at all. Toe Turn? Heel is coming straight up. Heel turn? I might break a few toes. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THESE TO MY WORST ENEMY! DO NOT GET THESE!
Nice design, warm liner
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share
I gave these boots to my brother as a gift, and he loves the design on them. All of his past boots had been lace-up boots and was wary of using the boa system. He said that when he put the boots on and saw how easy it was to tighten or loosen them on top of the mountain when it's dumping snow that the boa system is the only way to go.
He usually wears a 10.5 or 11 in his snowboard boots and in this particular boot the 10.5 was slightly too small and needed to size up the 11.
