Best of both worlds

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I ended up getting a second pair soon after I skated through my first pair. I decided to give the new DC lineup a try since I've never been a fan of DC shoes to begin with. All of the new shoes have the same low-profile yet fully padded design. They all skate extremely well and have amazing board feel. The issue with the Chris Cole Lite was that the laces ripped very easily. I fixed the problem by just putting a little shoe goo on top of the laces towards my ollie area and it worked just fine. So hopefully when they redesign the shoe for the next go around they work on protecting that area a little more. Worth every penny and then some.
