Sickest Softshell Ever

I was looking for a softshell that fell more under the hoodie category than the jacket category and I also wanted it to have at least 10k waterproofing. Fortunately, I found the Spectrum and it was exactly what I was looking for. The Spectrum looks and feels just like a hoodie but has all the tech features of a regular jacket. From pit zips to snow skirt, media pocket to pass pocket, this softshell has it all. I bought it primarily for spring riding but I'm sure it can be used by itself on some of the warmer days and even on colder days if you add some layering. I'm 5'9", 150 lbs, and originally I ordered a large, which wound up being a little baggier than I like, so I reordered a medium off of Brociety at a great price. It does fit true to size though, DC's sizing chart is pretty accurate, I had just ordered it too big in the first place. Lastly, the colorways on this jacket are sick, I've had tons of people compliment me on the black stripe pattern.

Do you have any close up pics of the jacket? I'm like 5' 8" 157 lbs. and most of the time I wear a small in DC jackets, but I want to get the black stripe so I'm thinking about going with medium, I just really don't like things too big on me.

I'll post the only close-up picture I have of the jacket, but it's a riding picture, not sure if that's what you want. I'm 5'9", 150 lbs, and originally I ordered a large, which is a bit too baggy for me, so I just reordered a medium off of Brociety the other day. If I were you I'd get a medium, but if you want it to fit real snug then go with a small. DC's sizing chart is pretty accurate as far as this softshell is concerned. Keep in mind this picture is of a large. Hope this helps.

I'm 5'9", 150 lbs, and I originally ordered a large, which turned out to be a bit baggy for me, so I just reordered it today off of Brociety (at a smokin price I might add) in a medium. That being said, it does fit true to size, I just ordered it too big to begin with. Check out DC's sizing chart, it's pretty accurate.

G'

This jacket is so super simple and elegant. fits like a champ-true to size. As long as you layer, this thing is good to go in all conditions. Love this jacket.

so sick....

I love this shell. It fits about like a hoodie and has front pockets, arm pocket, tune pocket... The bonded fleece liner is really nice, and the 10k exotex is supple and smooth. I expected to use it more as a spring jacket, but it'll go nicely with a bit of layering on the cold days.

I simply love this thing!

Has all the great stuff my heavy jacket has (DC Helix). Has the media pocket for tunes, the little built in microfiber goggle wiper thing, the thumb gators, powder skirt, pass pocket on the arm, the little things to rout your headphone cord, armpit vents. Simply awesome! Works very well for those warmer days. Wore it in the park and had plenty of room to move, nothing restricting or bunching up while jibbing. If you're looking for a good lightweight waterproof jacket this is the one!

Awsome

At first I wasn't sure of this jacket.. being a soft shell, but then i researched and found that its got 10k waterproofing.. so it stays warm even on the coldest days.
