Description

Don’t let cooler air put a damper on your skating.

Just because the leaves have fallen off the trees doesn’t mean it’s time to put your skateboard in the closet—instead break out the DC Women’s Stratton Boot to keep you warm in colder temps when you hit up the streets on your board. A durable leather upper with fleece cuff helps protect your feet from the cold weather, and its grippy rubber sole makes landing your tricks easy. The Stratton’s cushiony and lightweight EVA midsole also helps absorb harsh impacts, and its upper vent holes provide increased air circulation when you skate hard.

these hightops are pretty great, although it was trial and error to get the right fit. They must be on discount because there are some manufacturing discrepancies. I ordered the first pair in 8.5, my normal size, and they were tiny. So I ordered up to a 9, but the right shoe had a strange lump in the sole, then my replacements came, but the right shoe still fit too tight. So then I ordered up to a 9.5, which fits overall, but still the right shoe is smaller. Nice that the insoles are removeable. Cute, but definitely order a full size up!

PS - backcountry was super helpful and efficient about all the returns!

not at all waterproof. Perhaps some waterproofing would do the trick, but I found that even a little rain had my feet pretty soggy and unhappy
