Most jackets make you sacrifice one thing to get another, but the waterproof DC Men's Torr Snowboard Jacket is fully loaded with all the features you need (and some you just want). The Torr coat covers your ass with a few extra inches of length. Taped seams increase the jacket's waterproof protection, and a removable pow skirt stops snow sprays from frosting your back like a birthday cake. DC gave this snowboard coat a zip-in softshell track jacket that adds warmth and breathes deeply to keep you comfortable on super cold days. Wear the softshell post-ride and around town. The Torr also features climate-controlling Underarm zips.

Great Jacket but

Loving this Jacket but after my 2nd time using it. the hinge (silver piece attach to the zipper that we use with our fingers to zip the jacket) it broke on me, came right off. i would have to say its the quality. Great jacket but isn't top notch quality. isn't worth for me to keep so returning it. i had a XL. im 5'11. 200 lbs. love the baggy look. Feel free to contact me if u have questions. I ride a lot of park so i typically wear less than a normal person cause i sweat a lot so w/ the liner in would this replace a puffy w/ a t shirt underneath or is it still not that warm w/ the liner? what temp would you be comfortable in w/ just a t shirt under the track jacket? and does the track jacket fit snug, or can you wear it around town after boarding??

You called it, given your riding style and tolerance for weather, I think you'll be alright in a lightweight longsleeve baselayer. Temperature wise- a wide range for sure, the aforementioned advice for layering should get you from November to march no problem, unless you visit Targhee in February (your bone marrow will freeze if you don't have at least a 200 weight fleece on over your baselayer, but that's another story).

Torr kicks ass!

Torr is one sweet jacket, was kind of worried due to others reviews but that seemed to be lack of intelligence on their part rather than poor jacket design. I ordered a medium and it fits perfect, the liner is awesome and is waterproof enough to bead up water from under the faucet. Totally a boarding jacket with the fit being very baggy but designed that way so still comfortable. Better than I thought it would be!

Super DC jacket

Buy this jacket back when it was on sale for about $90. Can't go wrong with this jacket. It has so many pockets that you will be astonished. I was able to use the jacket to keep dry and warm. It comes with an inner piece which I use on not so cold days. The jacket is also equipped with a powder skirt to keep snow out. The jacket is suppose to be long. I bought a small and I'm like 5'6" but it fit just like any other snowboarding jackets out there. The sleeves are kinda long but there is a tie there so you can secure your sleeves. They are meant to be baggy. It has air pockets so you can keep kool. Would match nicely with the DC pants which I might get later on.

not the best snowboarding jacket...

I rode the jacket for like a week before i sent it back. the liner on the inside is kinda small and the cuffs are tighter on my wrist so if the get wet when your riding the just stick to your wrist... really uncomfortable. if youre not going to snowboard in it, its a pretty nice jacket, warm, comfy, just not for shredding

Waaay too big

This is a really nice jacket, and I disagree with the people saying its not warm enough, cause it is. But, the outter shell is HUGE!!! I am 6'2" 180 lbs and the large is waaay too big, I let a friend who is 6'6" and maybe 220lbs try it on and it fit him a little long, and he has very long arms. Buy the jacket, just go down a size or two.

i normally get mediums but i got a small based on the other review...thing is HUGE! im 5'8 155. the shell was at least 3 inches past my fingertips. but the liner was too small! i could barely get my wrists through the gaiters. i wore it in a snowstorm for like a minute, but i still got cold.

I just got this today and i just sent it back. I'm 5'8" 155 i usually wear medium, but based on the other reviews, i ordered a small...not only was i swimming, i doing back flips off the high dive. the arms were SUPER long--about 3 1/2 inches past my hands. the strange thing was that the inner liner fit well, only problem was i could barely fit my wrists through. that said, i will be getting a completely different coat because if i go any smaller, im afraid i'll be too big for the liner. i did wear it outside fora min in a snow storm and it seemed cold.

Sick Jacket

Sick jacket, tons of pockets, runs big. I'm 6 2" and got a large and its pretty baggy, but looks sweet on. Warm and very dry, the only thing is there is no pass pocket which blows, but it doesn't take anything away from this jacket.

Sizes seem to run large. This jacket is SO hot with the liner in. When I tried it on, i had to take it off and remove the liner, I couldn't stand it. There are hella pockets. The media pocket is a nice touch, cept i found that when you bend over to strap in, it decides to change your song.

Had ordered too big!

Cool Jacket just a little too big. I am sure I will be pleased with a smaller size. Warm, and plenty of pockets!

Nice Jacket

I am excited to try out my new jacket, it has plenty of pockets for all of my stuff and the inner jacket is nice and cozy.

Damn good!

Great Jacket, i´m pretty tall and I like the longer cut. The zip-in-liner is dope and the DC stitching looks ill. Best jacket I ever had, thanks DC!!!

The sickest jacket out there!

OK this jacket is really sick!!! its liner is not firecracker proof!!! so keep it away from ANYTHING that has a fuse!! But once you get it to the Mt. it makes up for all of THAT! the main body stays frickin warm - sometimes on the lift you arms get a little chilly! The jacket i thought was a little big for me- it was 4inches from my knees but the powder guard will NOT come up!!! i always had that problem! And you won't have a bit of trouble from the wind, that bastard!! Just buy the jacket, that's the BOTTOM line!
