I have my BA top on under my speed suit and as you can see, it is not as bulky as one would think.
I have used my B A top in both GS training and in races. It looks like it should be bulky but it isn't. The protection is great, especially around the arms (when hitting gates at high speed) and back (when landing a big crash). It doesn't really fully protect the ribs or areas just above the hips if the fall is not mostly on the back. Also the arm pads tend to ride up a bit when pulling on a speed suit with tight fitting sleeves - only a minor annoyance. All in all, however, the armor so fits so well that it doesn't interfere at all with performance and you quickly forget it's there. I am 5' 11 and 185 lbs and I wear a large. For the price, I enthusiastically endorse this product over a more expensive rival like a POC.
The gear is not overly noticeable when I wear it and is comfortable. The zippers are of poor to lower middle quality. For the price it is acceptable. I have not crashed yet to say anything about its protective ability.

I'm 6'2, 175lbs. My chest measures 36inches around, but I'm worried the sleeves might be too short on the medium. My arms are 22.5 inches from shoulder to wrist. Whaddya think?
I just received the medium and I think I will have to send it back because it is too big. I am 5'10ish 150 lbs. The sleeves are definitely long for me, I measured the sleeves and they are about 23 inches from shoulder to wrist. My problem is not with the sleeves but with the shoulder width, I am kind of a skinny guy and the shoulder pads sag a bit unfortunately. So, I will have to get a small. But I believe you should be ok with the length of the sleeves.
I'm a guy who " have to go back to work on monday" so less injures are better. I snow board and that 1001 time always something go wrong and who don't ski or snowboard doesn't believe how snow can be hard. Thats a reason why i did choose this time to go with body armor. This product giving the most bang for the buck. Protection is all round, and is so low profile, most of my friends couldn't notice I have body armor. I'm using same "jacket" for my other sports as well ( long-boarding and inline skating). Go get one it's worth every penny.
