Can I use this for Motorcycle riding? I am looking for armor protection and this jacket seems to do the job.
Yes you can! It's a great piece for upper body protection. You may still want to wear a chest protector if you race but this thing will keep you protected for sure
The hypist sh*t
Upon receiving the jacket, I simply burst out with joy, hugging eveyone that I came into contact with (while trying not to hit them with any of the hard plastic pads). It gives great protection and saves me from quite a few injuries daily. I love it.
Demon Snow Flex-Force Pro Top Body Armor - Men's.
THe armor is amazing it does everything perfect. I bought it because i needed it for my shoulder. THe padding in the back is very strong. I purposely tried to fall hard to see if it worked and it does. I don't feel a thing when i fall snowboarding. the only downer is making sure the rib plastic pieces in. When taking it on and off the rib things like to slip out or fall out completely. But other than that it is well worth the money and i recommend this product to all my friends

My chest measures 40" but the XL is WAY too large and the L is still too big across the shoulders. I would recommend ordering by your t-shirt size. :-)
It looks like the Snow Flex Force Pro will provide some nice protection and comfort when I try snowboarding for the first time and give snowkiting a try on Lake Winnipesaukee. I can't wait!
FlexForec Pro Top
you know why you are getting this, right? that's right.
lol seriously, this is a nice, well-made jacket and even though i haven't had a real tumble with it (i will use it underneath my biker jacket and for hang gliding), i think the shoulder and elbow protection are good. The spine protection is a little floppy, but that adds to the comfort. there is no chest protection, just a little padding over the clavicula. the fit for me was a tight medium, i am 1m73 and 180 lbs, so stocky build. but it fits perfectly, tight, so you can up a size if you are a bit chubby. i think you will be pretty happy with this one!!
Will work, nothing great
I initially wrote a pretty poor review on this. After some work, I finally figured out how to make this fit more correctly. The issue is though you cant just "throw" this on and expect everything to line up correctly. Im not sure if this is excellent fot the "price" or if something else would work better since this is the only armor I have tried or owned. I think it will do the job. Im giving it 3 stars because of what you have to do to make this thing fit in a way it can be used as intended. Maybe it will fit others better and they will love it. For me though it will work but its nothing to give 5 stars, maybe 3 1/2.
I have not used this in the field so everything said here indicates how it fits and how it seems like it will work. I doubt I can use it as intended and say something like, "if I did not have this on I would have broken my arm." Im hoping I wont have to give that type of review... :)
How much of this protection is removable...
How much of this protection is removable or able to be moved around (such as the elbow pad lower down the arm or the like)?
There are plastic inserts that ride over the top of foam in the elbow and shoulder areas. The plastic in these areas is removable, the foam is not. The back area is covered in a foam layer and then a foam covered plastic piece that rides over the top of it. Again the foam is not removable but the foam covered plastic is. There are a series of three panels on the back like this. In the front is some rib cage protection that is not removable. There are only two adjustment areas. The first is where the elbow pad is, the adjustmet is to help keep the elbow pad in place. The other is on the right and left a little up from where you kidneys are. I think the idea with this is to help make a snug fit around the rib cage area. Thats it.
small is going to be from 34-36; For medium it is 36-38; For large it is going to be 38-40
