Arbor Element Snowboard - 2004
The Arbor Element snowboard reigns over big mountain terrain, whether it's steep, deep or a nervy Coastal Range combo. You know Mike Basich? Ya, he likes the Element. Speaking of elements, Arbor takes only the best the earth can sprout when building their boards. Instead of using synthetic materials, Arbor utlizes all natural ingredients like cork dampening stringers, and patented Dymondwood cap-rail support beams. The Element's structural wood top sheet is made with book-matched Koa wood. The Element's balanced design gives you the versatility you can't live without. It's incredibly lively, freely initiates, and holds its stability when you're straightlining for life.
Bottom Line: Arbor's Element is big mountain terrain.

This deck holds up to all the hype I researched. It is incredibly responsive and the performance seems to increase the steeper the terrain. I am beyond happy with this purchase, and the guys here were regular guys who were super helpful and customer oriented. If you are considering the Element GO FOR IT! You will be extremely happy with your purchase!
Awesome. not for beginners!

I have been snowboarding since I was 14-15 yrs old, and owned a K2 spitfire 160 wide since I was 18, until recently I bought an Arbor. 1) wanted a board that not everyone owns. 2)heard they were awesome boards. I bought the element 162. The board is awesome. Easy to turn, and gains speed like a cheetah. Definitely not for the light-hearted people when it comes to snowboarding. You gotta make sure you are 100% sure that you want to purchase it. It was almost scary at first on my first day of using it. I may as well have been wearing a bulls-eye on my back, I had at least a dozen people in one day, ask me about the board. What kind it was? Where to find it? and sick it was! People really liked the top design. The one comment for that was...thats sick.

I was surprised at first because of its flexibility and thought it would shatter at high speed, but NOOOOOO !
The Element holds or should I say grabs the snow at high speed no matter what came under it, it is one smooth ride and the response I got from my commands were executed instantly. I love it! So much I bought an extra deck (which as a different wood grain) so that I have a couple of seasons secured. I combined it with a freestyle binding and I feel I could do anything. THE ELEMENT IS A GREAT RIDE! And I think we all agree: it IS the most gorgeous stick out there!
