Burton Custom X Snowboard - Wide

Burton's Custom X Wide Snowboard provides a lightweight, fast, responsive feel never before seen in big boards. This all-mountain machine handles backcountry chutes and ridiculously big gap hits without a second thought. Burton's Dragonfly wood core and ultralight Vaporskin construction give the Custom X Snowboard surgical precision that lets you throw down like you never thought possible. This year, Burton added an ICS binding mounting system for more stance options. Once you feel the snappy pop of the Carbon I-Beam reinforcement and the low swing weight of the Pro-Tip design, you'll wonder how you ever got by without this board. *We can't control the color of board you get, but who doesn't like surprises?**DISCONTINUED**

Bottom Line: Treat yourself to speed and precision you deserve.

like jaws

the Custom X devours everything in its path. It's beefy enough to charge through crud with no issues, has a super fast base so you can point and shoot and beat even the most aggro skiier down a straitline, and it's got a sidecut that can be both aggressive and cruizy. the binding system, once you get it dialed is sick. you can change it up at a moment's notice if you need to alter your stance during the day, and as long as you don't mind the Burton interface, you won't be disappointed. In retrospect i wish i had not gotten the wide because I wear an 11 size boot and would probably get more pop of the slightly narrower lighter board, but on the deepest days i don't hesitate to take out "Jaws". If you're a big dude, you want this stick for charging pretty much every kind of terrain. Mueller rides it a lot of the time, so it's probably good enough for you.

Super Smooth Ride

This board is amazing for charging big lines. It is super stable at speed and can hold an edge like no other. I have size 12 feet and have no toe/heel drag issues at all. If you have big feet and charge all over the mountain this is the board for you.

Size Matters

I'm a 6'6''and 300lbs. and rock the 168 wide. I have size 15 boots with no toe drag. For my size this board is awesome on the groomers and good in the park. It is super fast and very stable at high speeds. rides like a Cadillac but accelerates like a corvette. For my size it's lacks the float in deep powder(6+ inches). I don't think too many others will share this same problem. I rock a 172 Barron when the fluff gets deep. Buy with confidence great board..
