Description of Burton Cartel Snowboard Binding:
Armed with Burton's tallest and most adjustable highback, ultralight construction, and highly-padded straps, the Cartel Snowboard Binding gives you the confidence to stomp everything. Ultra Capstrap toe straps lock your feet in place and let you take full advantage of the ultra-adjustable Team Skyback II highback. The Cartel Binding also includes dual-density EVA and B3 Gel heel cushioning on the baseplate to take the sting out of hard landings. A stiff flex lets the Cartel slay a park or rip Alaskan steep without hesitation.

There is a reason why more pro's use this binding over any other. The day I bought these my riding improved 10-fold and I havent stopped progressing since. Very comfortable, very reactive and very easy to hold an edge.

The binding that sets the standard.   11-06-08

I've been riding Cartels ever since the model was introduced 6? years or so ago and have owned 2 sets and am picking up my 3rd! These are the consensus favorite bindings and have held up to harsh beatings at the Bird season in, season out riding 50-100 days per season. They have perfected the Cartel over the years, and that's the only reason that I upgraded mine twice. Steep and cheap helps too -Cartels for $109 last year!! I have never had a problem with either pair, other than one of the metal buckle ratchets getting floppy/loose but the strap still gripped tight. These have the team skyback that is the tallest highback but don't let that scare you. These bindings perform on all terrain in all conditions. They're fairly stiff but this helps when hauling ass through a snowloaded gnarly chute!! I ride big mountain stylie in Utah and these bindings are perfect. Cartels are the best bindings on the market according to many and I've heard through the grapevine that a lot of pros ride these that aren't sponsored by Burton. All of my bros rock them and so should you-if you want to keep up!

I've strapped into many bindings, these are easily the best for the money and a tie for the best ever. They strap on quick and easy even with my size 10s in a Medium binding. Highback sits right where I want it for smooth heelside transitions. They're surprisingly durable and, they're fricken gorgeous.
