This is Burton's stiffest, most supportive boot. Burton designed the Driver X with a Supercuff heel-hold system to lock down the back of your foot for better performance whether you're hiking or holding your toe edge around a backcountry boulder. On frosty morning ascents, the Vibram EcoStep sole gives you tons of traction to kick steps. When you're flying down a hanging snowfield, the Powershell reinforcement panels support like crazy. Burton also includes Dual Zone B3 Gel Cushioning to take the bite out of landings when you drop a 40-footer.

| This boot is super stiff but unlike other stiff boots I have had it is not uncomfortable at all. I did have to use the included ankle pads to get the liner to fit on my right foot. Now that the pads are in there the liners fit like a glove. I did have to size down a 1/2 size to get the right fit. They were tight at first but now that the liners have packed out after around 15 days they are perfect. |
