Slap the Burton Medium Spike Mat onto your board to get a little grip when you're pushing over those flat sections. This stomp pad gives you added traction and helps you kick away ice and snow so you can strap in quickly.

This is a good big stomp pad. The clear model allows any design or graphic on your board to show through. Allows you to have the added benefit of a stomp pad without ruining the graphics on your board. The mat is soft rubber and not as grippy as the Dakine X mat, but it does its job well and its fairly big, so it provides a large surface area to place your foot on. The Scraper in the middle is good to remove all the stuck snow and ice on your boot before you strap in.
