Description of DAKINE Pancho Pro Model Traction:
Toss out the sex wax and slap the DAKINE Pancho Pro Pad on your surfboard for grip. Pro surfer Pancho Sullivan told DAKINE he wanted a pad that wouldn't lose its traction or memory no matter the water temperature. DAKINE delivered. The Pancho Pro is a three piece pad that stays grippy in cold water, but won't rub your knees raw in warmer conditions. It features a 10mm center arch and a 20mm rolled tail kick and has 3M Pressure Sensitive Adhesive that won't peel off.

Bottom Line: Don't forget the Pancho.

I'm pretty sure all these traction pad companies use the same 3M PSA as their adhesive, but the Pancho let me down after 4 months of use. The center arch piece came off during a session. I was actually paddling and my leg felt something on my board, and I thought it was a baby sea lion that jumped on my board, which is known to happen at Rincon. It was just my traction pad. I even made real sure to clean my board before I attached the pad, and pressed down super hard. Oh well, at this low price I guess I'll buy another.
