Step into the Ice Age and head to the mountain in the DC Men's Therm Down Jacket. This ¾-length snowboard coat keeps you oblivious to the cold, no matter how low the mercury goes. And this jacket is more than just warm—it has a 5K waterproof rating and it's super breathable. DC gave the Therm parka a removable faux-fur-lined hood as well as a removable waist gaiter. Après-shred, leave the hood and gaiter in the trunk and make an appearance at the pub without looking like a beater who wears his snowboard jacket everywhere he goes. As any seasoned rider knows, little features can make a jacket great—like the MP3 pocket beneath the Therm coat's storm flap, which lets you manage your tunes with out unzipping your coat.

| Nice jacket for cold climate 11-26-08 |

| Great down jacket for the price, very very warm with lots of pockets and features. Its a little on the heavy side for snowboarding but I'm using it for walk around jacket anyways, gets dam cold waiting for the 270 express when it's -20 below 0 with blowing wind and ice in Minnesota.
Pros: Detachable hood and pow skirt, lots of nice pockets, 5k waterproofing, very comfortable.
Cons: A little on the heavy side but that's really why it's so warm.
I'm 5'10 200lbs and the large is just a touch to big, not enough for me to send it back though this thing will keep me alive in case my car breaks down this winter. |
