Tracking down rad boots in the sea of boring ones can be a huge pain in the ass. So we did the work for you (you're welcome). The DC Women's Filter Winter Boot has combat boot roots, but it isn't scared to show off its seductive side. DC gave these nearly knee-high boots shiny crocodile-style leather uppers and novelty buckle accents. To get into them, unzip the heavy duty zipper that runs up the back. The thick rubber soles feature CTR technology, which causes the rubber to harden into traction-enhancing spikes in temperatures below 32F. Finally, you can wear sexy boots without fearing for your life when you walk across an icy parking lot. A breathable mesh lining keeps your feet and legs from getting manky, and the Filter Boots' pill pattern tread provides grip and flexibility for all-weather walkin'.

I love LOVE the look of these boots; they are wicked. They look exactly like the picture and are of very high quality materials. They are very stiff at first and need to be broken in (to be expected). Their only downfall is the lack of lining, which hopefully will be no surprise to you if you read all the specs closely (unlike myself :S). However, I'm willing to put on some extra socks just because these boots are that cool and original.:)

Flat boots are a challenge for me because i'm little... but these are truly awesome. They are truly f$%# you boots - with a hot pink liner (I got the black). Warm as anything, sturdy and super fly. Actually, don't buy these boots... I want to be the only one who has them.

..the only problem that I had with these fab boots is that I found them a little tight fitted around the calves of the legs and as I snowboard, bmx and skateboard my calves seem to be a bit muscular. But these are such cool boots I dont mind too much!
