The verdict is in—you're sentenced to a season of comfortable snowboarding in the DC Men's Judge Snowboard Boot. This revamped DC favorite features dual Boa Focus lacing to distribute pressure evenly on your instep and ankle and to allow you to literally dial in your lacing with the simple twist of a knob. DC gave this medium-flex boot an adjustable internal ankle brace that provides support and locks your heel down. The Judge features EVA midsoles to disperse impact when you huck yourself. The extra-grippy soles offer great board feel that lets you get away with murder on the slopes.
These boots are effing awesome. They are so comfortable, it's like you're wearing shoes. The BOA lacing system is so easy to use and I love the air pump. The only thing that will need a bit of breaking in is on the inside part of your ankle, for me anyway. I would highly recommend them to anybody.
P.S. I heard a rumor the sizes are a lot smaller than they seem so I got a size 13. I normally wear 11 1/2 - 12 size shoes. Just a little tip for you.
bought sz 15 DC Judge, boots are too big outside, too wide, the foot print is too big even for the Worlds Widest board by Elan "El Grande"
tried sz 14 and the insole was too small, i'll have to customize it alot. however if i put sz 15 insoles from my old boots into the DC judges sz 14 boot. it fits like a dream. DC listen to me~! You CAN MAKE THESE BOOTS WITH A FOOTPRINT OF 1 SZ SMALLER THE REAL SZ. VERY IMPORTANT FOR BIG BOOTS TO PREVENT TOE DRAG AND HEEL DRAG for BigFoot Riders! Other then that i love the boots. comfort is 4.5 out of 5.
I ride 30-40 times a season, throughout all types of terrain; mostly park, backcountry, and day to day riding. I got these boots a little late in the season so I've only been able to ride with these for about 10 days. I normally wear a 10.5 but those were to small so whatever foot size you typically wear buy a 1/2 larger, trust me! These boots seemed a little heavy when I compared them to my 32's I used to ride with, but once they were on my feet they felt lighter. The +- pump system works great, I've always had ankle slipage when on my toe side until I put these on. The best part about these boots is you can even adjust them while strapped in!!!! The versatility in these boots alone is the future of snowbaording, no joke! These boots are the shit plain and simple!!!!
