I wore this jacket for the first time last weekend and it was great. The day started out pretty warm so i had the vents open to keep my cooled off, but by 4 pm the air got cold so and the wind picked up so i zipped up and the jacket kept me completely warm and dry. I highly recomend this jacket if your considering buying your first one or a new one.

This jacket it a lot nicer than described. First off, it's twice as waterproof (10k not 5k) and it has a number of more pockets than stated as well. Along with the 2 hand pockets and media pocket as stated, it also includes another outside chest pocket and SIX more pockets on the inside! So you have storage for nearly everything you need. As far warmth, it is decently heavy and is fine for the normal ski/snowboard day. If the wind's up and the temp is in the sub zero's an additional sweatshirt or core layer is needed. But this is a good all around coat to keep you dry and warm. The powder skirt also includes buttons to snap to your pants, eliminating any possibility of snow getting in.
