Description of Flow NXT FS Snowboard Binding:
The Flow NXT FS Bindings give you hair-trigger response and a forgiving feel for confidence in the park and pipe. When you're throwing down, the modular aluminum and nylon highback works with the aluminum baseplate to create a lively ride that turns on a dime. Don't worry about the rigid feel that's associated with metal bindings—the NXT FS Bindings have independently adjustable toe and heel landing pads to increase dampening and fine-tune board feel. Flow's streamlined I-Flex Powerstrap gives you ample support so you ride comfortably all over the mountain. Four locking MINIratchet Buckles let you tweak the NXT FS bindings to fit your boots perfectly. With Flow's new school rear-entry approach, you can leave the adjustments to your slow bros and attack the park first.

Bottom Line: Smooth and responsive.

Sick... ok maybe one word. I have last years NXT FS and they are the best binding i have ever used. These were my second pair of flow bindings and i thought it couldnt get any better. These bindings have so many adjustments I cant count them. Make sure you buy them early, and give your self a couple "break in" trips, so you can adjust them to your liking (it will take a while). After you adjust them be ready for the best shredding you have ever experienced.

There's a reason snowboard bindings have stuck to a two-strap design for the past 3 decades. The FLOW's looked like a good idea, but ultimately they were more difficult to get in/out of than regular bindings. 1.) They are impossible to get into while sitting down because the back has to fold down in order to get your boot in. Strapping in standing up is only remotely possible on the flats, so you're screwed if you have to strap in/out on the slopes. 2.) The highback needs to be super-stiff to accommodate the clamp mechanism, so if you're into a flexy binding, you're out of luck. 3.) You have to exert a good amount of force to clamp/unclamp the highback which is in an awkward position, so you better have a good chiropractor. 4.) You still need to adjust the foot flap to get a correct fit, so the clamp just ads another step to the process of getting strapped in. 5.) The foot flap is nowhere near as responsive as the traditional ankle/toe strap combination.
